Ha, I just randomly found this site via being bored and searching up on a nostaglic whim. I was actually surprised to find a still thriving Animorphs forum, so... Hi!
Intro, hmmm...
Well, my name is Aila, I discovered animorphs in the 4th or 5th grade, and I'm 23 now, in school hoping to one day be an illustrator while working in a bookstore (yay) and radiostation (I hate mah voice). I'm a total bookworm, and think the books I grew up with helped me become who I am, so Animorphs gets major credits there, especially with the whole website development skillz thing. I can still remember my first, totally unoriginal webpage Rachel and Cassie's Animorphs site, but I met one of my best friends to this day through it, and we're still best buds, so yay there. So basically, lots and lots of fond memories via Animorphs, and it pisses me off Goosebumps is getting a big ole re-release, but yet Scholastic sits on K.A. properties when I'm left even now searching for out of print copies of Animorphs and Everworld to complete my library.
So... Hi!
p.s. I offer you an old Crayak fanart of mine from years ago too:

Ah how many animorphs doodles are throughout my middleschool sketch books.

Hiya Aila! Welcome to the forum. Very cool drawing. Oh, and this forum is a bit known for it's entire lack of all sanity. So, please drop that off, and enjoy your stay! Welcome welcome!
-
welcome to RAF! i hope u have a good stay here, and leave your sanity at the door!
anyways, i like the crayak sketch, but whats with all the root-like things comin outta him?

*looks at it* It's been years since I drew it, but I'm assuming it's some sort of wire/tubes of wire stuff. I wasn't very good at drawing technical stuff back then. It's a very.. organic Crayak.
Thanks guys!
-
:welcome:
-
Welcome! Enjoy your stay and check your sanity at the door please. ;D
-
*swirls his cloak and appears, sees Sonic, Tails and Knuckles*
Oops. Wrong universe. Again.
*swirls his cloak and appears in the room*
Welcome to RAF, Aila.
-
Welcome to RAF, please leave your life and sanity at the RAFdoor. thank you. This is RAF, hells cousin. I am Gumby, RAF's resident stick of chewing which can't be chewed. Welcome.
-
The crayak is awesome, welcome to RAF.
-
Pretty darn good Crayak sketch!
I am a seal. A magic seal, so don't be shocked by RAF species. Oh, and nice universe miss, Cloaky.
*waddles up, pick up bin with sanities in it, and waddles off, dumping them in the incinerator*
Sorry. RAF protocol. I think.
-
Lol, you guys are seemingly nuts, arn't cha?
Well... umm... in that case... I'm Time Lord! Time Lords for the win!
/nerd>
-
Raf is kinda nuts..
-
OMG! I thought (almost) all time lords were extinct! Are you the master or the doctor?

I'm something stuck in a fobwatch. Just dunno how to get out. It's kinda cramped in here, but I THINK I was female. Romana perhaps?
-
Hmmm. Fobwatches can be a bit annoying.
-
welcome to the forum!
always nice to see new members join. :D
-
Oh, Cloak. With practice one of these days you'll get it. That's ok, we RAFlove you anyway.
Yeah, we're all nuts here. And yay! Another Doctor Who fan!
-
wHELLcome!!!
So it was you who drew this amazing Crayak!? I already know your drawing for a long time ^^ Art about Crayak is so rare... maybe yours is the only one!
I hope you'll stay on RAF a long time.
RAFians have many projects you can participate and contribute to if you want:
E-books Project (mostly complete, and therefore inactive. However, there has been some activity trying to clear up the last little details in support of the Translation Project),
Remnants and Everworld E-books projects will be soon finished too (miss Everworld #10)...
RAFipedia (an encyclopedia of the weirdness that goes on here, headed up by Estelore)
The Audiobooks project, a full-cast audio version of Animorphs, which is currently reactivating. There are many non-acting positions open, plus quite a few parts (especially extras) as well. Mrguy, Morfowt, and myself are currently heading that.
The Translation Project (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,1907.0.html) (actually in the Other Books board currently), a recently started project/mutual support group for translations into other languages. With a lot of random language-geekyness. Currently, there's been interest in French (Dameg, Tocade, Anidragon), Chinese (Morfowt), Indonesian (Nat), and Esperanto (myself)--but as far as I know, no real goals have been set yet. Personally, I'm only interested in continuing work on my translation once the Audiobooks are moving along well.
The Webcomic project: making the comic of Animorphs.
The RPG project: I'll do it in French, but with some RAFians, we gonna translate. And RAFians also help ^^ a lot!
And if you feel alone or sad, come to the Sharing, and you won't be alone anymore... never! About your sadness, it depends... ^^'

. . . Time Lord, eh? Time to update the RAF species list!
-
and the list grows
-
Hi, Aila. Dameg's already mentioned the projects (I'm getting terribly slow...), so welcome aboard (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=2&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DsF2inhZO2Ys&ei=euWFSdXRDuPetge8spzICQ&usg=AFQjCNHElPpbYV7vPMl8wSt64BNu6rHJ7A&sig2=mHyiUO0D4zLmfoaG80Mfgg).
PS: Have you seen the library (http://animorphsforum.com/ebooks/)?
-
Poor Cloaky. He's keeping track of the species list.
-
Hey, faerie helps.
-
True. I'm to lazy too.
-
Welcome, Time Lordling! I'm the resident Star. I'm not really a Caleban, so please don't confuse us. Blasted pedantic creatures, those. Ugh.
Regardless, hello! I'm Este. :)
-
Hey, Aila, check out the "What is your species thread" in the life board to make your input!
-
What the minute pinniped said. Please do, Aila. Make sure we're accurate.
-
Cloaky, can't you call me a seal? Please? Pinniped seems too formal.
-
I'm a formal guy. I won't tell you how long it took me to start calling Estelore "Esty".
Anyway, I think we might be straying from the topic.
-
Lol, thanks again guys. I'll definatly look into stuff, especially that web comic thing. We'll see if I can find that species thread. XD
-
Life Board, Aila. It's in the Life Board.
-
hahaha. welcome to RAF
