Alright, alright, so I've been hiding. It's nice to be here, discussing my favourite book series from childhood. I'm kind of new to the whole forum experience, so please bear with me! But one thing I do know, when you invite people over, you've got to provide refreshments. Smoothies anyone?

*begins to swirl his cloak, but knocks over a tray of smoothies.*

Actually, I planned on having a wide selection of flavours. (I'm quite the queen of organic produce.) :) Help yourself to whatever fruit you like!

Well, um, no, but whenever I need to appear, a puddle always goes to the recieving end of the line. So, I jump out of a real puddle that has...um...now mixed with melted smoothie, making it look like a melted smoothie. Yum, strawberry. *picks up strawberry smoothie and gulps it.*

I should tell you the projects RAFians have:
E-books Project (mostly complete, and therefore inactive. However, there has been some activity trying to clear up the last little details in support of the Translation Project),
Remnants and Everworld E-books projects will be soon finished too (miss Everworld #10)...
RAFipedia (an encyclopedia of the weirdness that goes on here, headed up by Estelore)
The Audiobooks project, a full-cast audio version of Animorphs, which is currently reactivating. There are many non-acting positions open, plus quite a few parts (especially extras) as well. Mrguy, Morfowt, and myself are currently heading that.
The Translation Project (http://animorphsforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,1907.0.html) (actually in the Other Books board currently), a recently started project/mutual support group for translations into other languages. With a lot of random language-geekyness. Currently, there's been interest in French (Dameg, Tocade, Anidragon), Chinese (Morfowt), Indonesian (Nat), and Esperanto (myself)--but as far as I know, no real goals have been set yet. Personally, I'm only interested in continuing work on my translation once the Audiobooks are moving along well.
The Webcomic project: making the comic of Animorphs.
The RPG project: I'll do it in French, but with some RAFians, we gonna translate. And RAFians also help ^^ a lot!
You can participate, and work on them to death if you want >:D

Yeah, not many wander this far off the Sanity Road. In fact, we're so far off, we're off the map!

What brings me to RAF? The realisation that none of my friends talk about Animorphs anymore...and that this is one of the few Animorphs forums that is still running. Plus, I spend most of my time around various marine animals and followed a lost seal around the estuaries for a while...maybe that's how I ended up here, and why I'm so comfortable being one of the few humans.

we used to have a mango tree in hawaii.
best fruit ever.
we ate too many and all developed allergic reactions when we ate them again (after we had moved).

Are you sure it's the mango itself that you're allergic to, goom? It could be a preservative or fertilizer that was on the store-bought mangoes, instead of the all-natural fruit that you grew yourself. Or it could be wishful thinking and my unfaltering belief that everyone should be able to eat mangoes.

Hi, Loligo. Thanks for the smoothie. I've been away from mai internetez the past couple of days, so sorry for being late. But, this is Silicon Valley, so I managed to find some.
Well anyway. Species, hm? I'm a were-ferret, I guess. Full moon's tomorrow, and I'm supposed to fly cross-country. Oh well.
I hate pet-class.

You small creatures have no room to complain. Whenever I travel, I have to be tranquilized and chained down. And even then, I can't be on a plane, I have to go by truck or boat.

I don't fly, I teleport. Water, remember.

Teleportation through water...somehow it seems easier than airports and freeways. I should look into that.

It's a little difficult, you have to be born with some natural powers. Sorry, if you weren't born with water powers (who knows, you might!) then no teleportation.
