The Star Swimmer

This is an RP between me and Sharky over YIM, a recap of the stuff before is, this partly involves the Fayliens I've mentioned before, they had a ship but it's useless now, Zohrra asked if he could use parts to build his own ship and they let him, so he built the Star Swimmer.

Zohrra: *is focusing a beam of energy to finish welding together parts of what looks like a large metal bird*
Sharky: what are you doing?
Zohrra: remember that project I started ages ago
Sharky: yes
Zohrra: to let us fly to the stars
Zohrra: here she is =D

Sharky: nice
Zohrra: I decided to call her
Zohrra: the Star Swimmer
Zohrra: since I'm sure this design will allow us to seemingly swim out there
Sharky: heheh
Sharky: swimming in space =D
Zohrra: yep hehe
Zohrra: ok she is done
Zohrra: well apart from a color
Sharky: you are going to paint it =D
Zohrra: but what the hey, shall we give her a spin?
Sharky: ok
Zohrra: *opens door*
Sharky: =D

Sharky: *walks in*
Zohrra: *follows and closes door*
Zohrra: *walks into c0ckpit

Zohrra: you don;t need to worry about the controls
Zohrra: they are designed specifically for me
Sharky: wow so only you can drive it

Zohrra: ok pressure seals activated
Zohrra: that means
Zohrra: all gaps are blocked
Zohrra: so no air can escape
Zohrra: because there is no air in space
Zohrra: if we lose the air we have
Zohrra: it will be very bad

Zohrra: but the pressure seal
Zohrra: is the tightest way to block something
Sharky: ah
Sharky: so we weill be ok
Zohrra: yep
Zohrra: we also have water
Zohrra: and fish
Zohrra: ok you ready for launch?
Sharky: lunch i love lunch
Zohrra: I won't go to full speed on this flight

Zohrra: -everything within the Star Swimmer suddenly lights up-
Sharky: O_O ...D: WHAT IS GOING ON
Zohrra: -the ship starts to move faster and faster until it lifts off the ground-
Zohrra: what is going is
Zohrra: we are the first Zoras to get into space
Sharky: =d
Zohrra: -the ship goes higher and higher until the blue sky is gone and is replaced with a vast black canvas dotted with bright white specks-
Zohrra: Sharky
Zohrra: we did it
Sharky: =D SO
Sharky: what do we do now
Zohrra: we look around
Zohrra: *flies ship around the huge ball that is planet Hylia*

Zohrra: doesn't it look beautiful from out here?

Zohrra: do you see that *points at what looks like pin in the distance*

Zohrra: I designed her to be just like a Zora

Sharky: heheh just liek you *nuzzles*
Zohrra: yep hehe
Zohrra: hey look *points at dome itself*
Zohrra: it's transparent

Zohrra: can you find a comunication link to that ship?

Zohrra: Uh this is the Star Swimmer can you hear this message?

Zohrra: ok now we have that settled, I'm just curious as to what brought you to our humble planet?
Sharky: TO < Captain they seem to be from teh planet below>
Captain < well explain yourself  than>

Sharky: TO < Star Swimmer we are here out of chance just as survailance of teh area. according toour information thsi planet is not capable of space travel. It seems we were mistaken>
Zohrra: Actually you are 100% correct
Zohrra: I'm just more advnace and have a friendship with another race who had space travel
Sharky: TO <Please explain> is confused
Zohrra: have you heard of the Fayliens?
Sharky: TO < I personaly am not familiar with this quadrant of space our captain however might>
Zohrra: I can explain
Zohrra: the Fayliens lost their planet and escaped to ours
Zohrra: their ship is useless but I could see usable parts
Zohrra: and built my own ship
Sharky: TO < facinating > *turns a stalkeye to teh captain* < does that sound liek suspicious activity  sir?>
Captain < not exactly  but check them just to make sure there are no signs of yeerk activity on teh planet >
Sharky: TO < you may board if you wish The dock shoudl open shortly>
Zohrra: that would make things easier
Zohrra: *waits for an opening*
Sharky: *random Anadalite in charge of opening dock bay opens door*
Zohrra: *flies to door and lands inside*
Zohrra: man this is exciting hehe

Zohrra: *turns off pressure lock*
Zohrra: *drains ship*
Zohrra: *opens door and walks out*
Sharky: O_O wow its huge
Zohrra: yeah
Zohrra: *closes door once Sharky is out*
Sharky: TO < make sure you scan their vessel for anything suspicious> he told one of teh warriors who was standing in the area privately

Zohrra: uh so who was that talking to us?
Sharky: TO < heh that would be me.>
Zohrra: ok so not to sound rude but what exactly are you?
Sharky: TO < hehe its perfectly ok to ask i suppose. We are Andalites and you ?>
Zohrra: Zoras but don't take us as the only example of life down there
Zohrra: we have many races
Sharky: TO < yes so it seems>
Sharky: TO < for teh size of your planet it seems to have a high quantity of sentient species all living in teh same planet >
Zohrra: yeah, I'm sure that's all thanks to the Goddesses
Sharky: TO < <_<  dieties  yeah  i suppose so >
Zohrra: yeah there are actually people that have seen them
Zohrra: not in their true forms
Zohrra: but still

Zohrra: we actually ate before we got here, plus the Zoran diet is pretty specific
Zohrra: if we get hungry it'd be better for our health to get something from our ship
Sharky: TO < i see well teh Captain wishes to speak to you>

Sharky: TO < ah yes of course...follow me >

Zohrra: I've had simuliations
Sharky: Captain < ah yes they are very helpfull butnever the same as a real ship as i suppose you may have figured out >
Zohrra: yeah, flying the Star Swimmer for the first time was amazing
Zohrra: and getting to meet other people with space travel makes it even better
Sharky: Captain < yes young pilot  you are its very exiting. Well let us introduce ourselves shall we. I'm Captain Barant- Agizan- Yalin . I have been on this ship in particular for 5 years and you are?>
Zohrra: Zohrra Ka, one of many heroes of the land of Hyrule and just today Captain of my own creation
Zohrra: and this is Sharky Ka, my wife

Sharky: Captain: <ah so you are a couple thatis very nice. I don'thave that luxary here. this is after all a Dome Ship specific for battle>
Zohrra: Ah, yeah well we are lucky enough to just enjoy exploring
Zohrra: but we have had battles too
Sharky: Capatin < so i asume you made your ship battle ready >
Zohrra: yep
Zohrra: it has some basic weapons plus my favorite kind ever *makes a little spark in hands*
Sharky: Captain: < you have bioengeneering? or is that natral for your species>
Zohrra: well usually some of us have this power, I just have it amazingly beyond normal
Sharky: Captain: < i see. Well i suggest you and your people get more weapons and more means todeffend yourselves >
Zohrra: why is that?
Sharky: Captain < Well as ihave told you this dome is a battle ship.>
Zohrra: sigh let me guess, your enemies are around here too?
Sharky: Captain: < We are at war with teh Yeerk empire and we have information thatthis sector of space mght be targeted >
Zohrra: ¬_¬ first Ganon and Zant then a giant evil mushroom now evil aliens
Sharky: Captain : < none have been spotted yet but this is teh highest populated planet in teh area we were hoping to spring a trap here >
Zohrra: ah, maybe you could get help from the Fayliens ^--,^
Zohrra: after they settled in they decided to help defend our world
Zohrra: they know a lot about space travel and stuff
Zohrra: they are the most advanced life forms on the planet
Sharky: captain: < hmm parhaps we will>
Sharky: TO: < captain..we have a small issue with teh alien craft...it apears it has stopped functioning>
Zohrra: if it wasn't for them the Star Swimmer would be a forgotten dream
Zohrra: did I just hear what I think someone said?
Sharky: Captain: <did you suffer any damage on you rway here?>
Zohrra: nope
Zohrra: you see the thing is
Sharky: Captain: < interesting i suggest you go take a look>
Zohrra: I'm not just captain of my ship
Zohrra: I'm also the power supply
Sharky: Captain: < powersupply?>
Zohrra: remember what I showed you earlier
Sharky: Captain: < OH YES
Zohrra: my powers are strong enough to power the Star Swimmer

Sharky: Captain: < we are sorry for this but if you happened to be with the enemy and you were a trap  we had to make sure>

Zohrra: *walks out of room towards where the Star Swimmer is*

Zohrra: *enters the ship*
Sharky: *Captain goes into ship and is followed by two offices just in case it could still be a trap*
Zohrra: *walks into ****pit and reaches into tubes*
Zohrra: *zaps metal bars and suddenly the ship lights up*
Zohrra: *takes hands out*
Zohrra: that should be enough power to show you around
Zohrra: Com, please welcome the Captain of the Galaxy Roamer
Zohrra: Com: welcome aboard the Star Swimmer
Sharky: Captain < absolutely amazing > *is very happy like a little kid in a candy shop*
Zohrra: oh unless you want to be locked in don't touch this switch *points at pressure seal switch*
Zohrra: it's a little idea me and some Faylien scientists came up with
Sharky: warrior guy < what does it do?>
Zohrra: within the walls of this ship is an expandable substence that is pratically indestructable
Zohrra: this switch will force it to expand filling any gaps
Zohrra: keeping the air and everyone safely inside the ship
Sharky: Captain < that is some very sofisticated technology you have there>
Zohrra: yeah
Zohrra: I can't take to much credit for it
Zohrra: without Com or the Fayliens this ship would barely be safe for Orbital travel
Zohrra: *walks along passed a door acting like it's not there*
Sharky: capatin< very interesting. hm if you were touse this technology to a larger scale you mightbe able touse it as a shield for you planet >
Zohrra: that would be possible
Zohrra: but getting enough would take a long time
Sharky: TO < uh captain i think we have a prblem outside i suggest you come out here >
Sharky: Captain: < and just when i was starting to have a good time. it never fails >
Zohrra: what's going on?
Sharky: Captain: < let's find out>
Zohrra: ok I'll leave the ship powered just in case
Zohrra: *runs outside*
Sharky: TO: < it seems to be a Yeerk scout ship sir behind that moon >
Zohrra: those are your enemies right?
Sharky: Capatin < yes they are . they are looking for suitable  hosts for their people so your planent sees to be a good target >
Zohrra: Hey my weapons need a real test
Zohrra: mind if I join you on this battle?
Sharky: Capatain < hehe that woudl be a good thing for you r people see they don't know how advanced everyone is so if they were to asume all yoru people have your technology they will clasify you as a class 4 species >
Zohrra: is that a good thing?
Zohrra: being a class 4 species I mean
Sharky: Capatin <yes a very good thing for you ..for teh yeerks its not so good>
Zohrra: ok then lets blast them out of the sky before they even reach it
Sharky: Captain: < you see class 4 means you are good for infestation but have strong enough technology to fightback>

Sharky: Captain < they are in search for a class 5 >
Sharky: Captain < well enough of this its TIME FOR A GOOD FIGHT>
Zohrra: yeah *runs back into Star Swimmer*

Zohrra: for this fight I need you at the teleport button
Zohrra: I set it to the lowest distance

Zohrra: also set up battle mode *stands with arms in main weapon tubes*
Zohrra: -suddenly the ****pit changes allowing a more suited room for battle-
Zohrra: Galaxy Roamer, the Star Swimmer is fully battle ready
Zohrra: *takes hand out of tube to activte pressure seal*
Zohrra: *puts arm in tube again*
Sharky: TO < would you like to exit sir>
Zohrra: yes please
Sharky: TO < ok you will be allowed to exit with the rest of our fighters >
Zohrra: good idea
Zohrra: it will show thsi ship is not one of yours
Sharky: TO < ok we have a rather small scout ship behid teh moon of ths planet. please be prepared that it could posibly be a trap. Let teh Star Swimmer goout first . if any of teh pilots do not know it happens tobe teh big blue ship on deck >
Sharky: < keep the yeerks guessing untill its to lae than we get them from behind got it >
Sharky: Pilots: *all say yes at almostthe same time*

Zohrra: Sharky, to make them think Hyrule usually has this kind of tech

Sharky: TO < to fighter 17 on teh left deck ...why is your engine off>

Sharky: Akaroth was backing up so he backed up onto a fighter going frward*
Zohrra: *zaps a bug fighter destroying it with amplifying cannon*

Sharky: ok  i have my claw over teh button justtell me when
Zohrra: *dracon beams begin fire*

Sharky: Wallkett < MOVE OUT OF TEH WAY > kicks Akaroth and pushes him out of teh helm and takes teh fighter out of teh docking bay>

Zohrra: -suddenly the Star Swimmer just vanishes-
Zohrra: -the dracon beams all hit other bug fighters-
Sharky: TO < did that ship just vanish...ATTACK THE BUGFIGHTERS NOW>
Sharky: < nevermind>
Zohrra: -the Star Swimmer suddenly reappears somewhere safer
Zohrra: -
Sharky: TO < aim for the scout ship i reapeat teh SCoUT SHIP>
Sharky: =D that was cool
Zohrra: yeah
Zohrra: *zaps more fighters with amp cannon*
Sharky: Wallkett < alrright  now we are flying  now please try to HIT something ok Akaroth>
Sharky: Akaroth < when we are back..I'm so going to get you for this long stalks>

Zohrra: Sharky the fight seems to be over there
Zohrra: wanna flash over there?

Zohrra: -Star Swimmer teleports closer to battle-

Zohrra: *zaps more bug fighters*
Zohrra: man I'm glad I had the idea of the amp cannon
Sharky: yeah
Sharky: or we would have been outnumbered
Zohrra: yeah
Zohrra: I mean one hit will fry one of the enemy ships
Sharky: Akaroth shoots and misses bug fighter and barely hist a fighter
Zohrra: O_O they should be more careful
Sharky: yeah

Zohrra: reroute all power but teleport systems to weaons now

Zohrra: *releases it into tubes*
Zohrra: -suddenly a larger than normal beam in a bright shade of blue is released from Amp Cannon towards the scouter-
Sharky: Akaroth < buts his blade at Wallkett's throat  you yell at me again long stalks and i'm gong to hurt you>
Wallkett : < ..... and than who is going to flyteh ship />
Zohrra: -Scouter survives but has some serious damage-
Zohrra: that
Zohrra: was
Zohrra: AMAZING!
Sharky: awesome
Sharky: TO: < ok that seems to be the end of this battle nice shooting  >

Sharky: TO < everyone did well in thi sbattle  (almost everyone) >
Zohrra: Com: ok done
Zohrra: also deactivate battle mode and set up speeder mode
Sharky: TO < to Star Swimmer you wish to dock again or are you leaving  back to your homeworld?>
Zohrra: -****pit changes again and to allow Zohrra to move in a swimming style-

Zohrra: -lights go out but the ship is now lit by long blue lights that go everywhere and connect to the arm tubes-

Sharky: wow
Zohrra: *starts swimming*
Zohrra: *ship builds up speed beyond what it's done before*
Sharky: =D WEEEEEEEEEE
Sharky: TO < captain you shoudl come see teh readings on that ship its purely amazing>
Sharky: Capain: <........ amazing>
Zohrra: *enjoys a ride around the outside of the Galaxy Roamer and dives into the dock*
Sharky: Capatin < I can't beliebe he has that kind of power>
Sharky: TO< yes its one powerfull ship>
Sharky: Captain < ...uh yes teh ship> *decides not to tell anyone about Zohrra's powers for safety reasons>
Sharky: *
Zohrra: -the power readings are gone the moment the ship lands-
Zohrra: ok Com turn of speeder mode
Sharky: TO < their power masking technology is amazing>
Zohrra: -Zohrra is released and ****pit is normal again-
Zohrra: *presses pressure seal switch*

Behind the Scenes: In case you are wondering he is really tired but that is because he is really tired, he drained a lot of energy into the engine so he could fake the tiredness more than just realistically.
