Oh, next update will be the Helmacrons, won't it? This'll be entertaining. (I actually like the first Helmacron book, but I do see why a lot of people dislike it)

I get creeped out when I watch your videos because I feel like you're reading my mind.

Except you're smarter than me because you pick up on things I miss.

Awesome series.

I actually liked his helmacron voice. It made me think of a much more effeminate Dalek.

lol, agreed. It's very irritating. Much like like the Helmacrons actually, so at least you captured their essence well. :P

Nice review as always, glad you didn't just dismiss it completely despite being a Helmacron book. I have to agree that it is far superior to their second appearance (not like that says much).

Congrats on winning Best RAFproject by the way, well deserved. :)

I've gotta say, every time I see the cover for Visser my heard does somersaults and I think that maybe somehow you've jumped ahead to review it.

Ohhh Myitt. Desperate to see how he talks about the most political and entirely Yeerk-centric book. ;)

It was one of my personal favorites too. :D

Hrms, this book also begs the question, if they Yeerks were scientifically talented enough to clone the venber, why couldn't they just clone themselves some host bodies so they didn't have to keep taking over planets and getting themselves all chopped up by different races?

Great review. I almost couldn't believe it when I first found out #25 was ghost written, it's a solid book. Admittedly I'm biased towards liking Marco books, but I still really enjoyed this one. If all the ghost written books had been as well written as this one, I doubt many people would've realised. Same goes for the following book #26, one of my favourites.

I suspect Visser Three's torture device collection is just an added attempt at intimidation on his part, although this is made rather redundant considering his reputation for impatiently decapitating anyone who even slightly annoys him.

I actually forgot the part where it specifically says that the Venber are not carbon-based (I believe they are thought to be hydrogen-based), but I'm pretty sure that makes a cross breed with humans completely impossible.

Another point, I really liked Cassie in this book.  When I read it I thought "yay!  She's waking up a little!"  It's really too bad  that the trend in the overall series made this bit seem more like a character misrepresentation than character development.  :(
