Okay, yeah, fine, not that old.  I guess it just felt older than it was, because I was looking through my game and thinking, "I remember none of this."  That probably says more about my memory than the age of the game, lol.

As for which game it was, I vaguely remember that I was semi-simultaneously playing SoulSilver, Diamond, Ruby, and FireRed in an attempt to get as close to a (legitimate) complete Pokedex as I could.  So those Pokemon could have come from any of those games (even though I found them on SoulSilver).

Anyway, to get back to the topic of Animorphs (heh, sorry), yeah, Tobias's aging was never covered in the books, but Blaze brings up a good point about DNA.  According to some studies, it's actually the DNA that ages, and as it replicates throughout your lifetime, it shortens, and that's the reason why we have a limited life-span.

But does that mean that morph DNA keeps aging, or does the morphing process preserve it somehow?  I think the biggest argument against the idea of morphs aging is the fact that the Animorphs have fly morphs.  If those morphs aged normally, they'd be dead in a matter of days, since that's all the longer flies can live.

Of course, as RYTX pointed out, all that has been discussed before, so I think I might be off-topic again by bringing that up too.  :P

I wonder if constantly morphing and demorphing every 2 hours except when sleeping would slow down aging.

If so, every time Tobias morphs human, does he morph his 13 year old self when everyone else in nearly 17?
I think I read somewhere that a fan suggested that the Ellimist messed up that morph on purpose so it ages without Tobias in the morph, and K. A. Applegate liked that idea

So according to the second entry in this article, half of RAF has the same mental illness. Because let's face it, we all went through (or are still in) the phase of believing we could turn into animals. :P

Sandy got me wondering what a situation like that would have been like in the books, how it would have affected the east coast pools and feeding and stuff.

i'm a little curious as to how ax would have reacted if he had contracted an earth based disease. clearly the kids handled themselves well enough when they got that alien sickness, but what would ax do if he were feeling a foreign illness

So... I joined this animation personified RP forum that my friends run. And I decided to play Toby from The Great Mouse Detective. His name on the site is Tobias Jacob Kane.

I felt like there wasn't enough Animorphs in that, so I also had him channel Ax and marvel at the fact that it's possible to balance on two legs without a tail.

Random thought because I stopped WoW to post here.

What if a group of 5 humans received the power to morph in the warcraft universe?

5 deathwings running around?
How would the druids feel about these people?
How would the world be changed if there were multiple dragon aspects?
How about morphing key political figure like Varian or Thrall?
Could plant-like creatures like treants be morphed.
The warcraft universe has a wide variety of animal life, so many options are available.

They'd be killed for experience in seconds. Realistically, in a world as heavily populated as world of warcraft, it would never be safe to morph. And, once you're high level enough, turning into monsters weak enough to acquire would be practically useless.

(I never played warcraft and never will so correct my statements if possible)

They won't be able to morph unless wearing no or tight clothes, which will make them even more vulnerable targets due to the fact that they have no armor.

 If the Chee were meant to be companions and are programmed to be non-violent... why do they have super strength? I mean, it's not specified that they were also made to be all-around sort of useful. You know "companion, laborer, servant, etc." So... what's with disproportionate amount of strength?

not to be a prick but....4 times

which means the pemalites themselves should also be pretty physically capable, least off that world, as it seems andalite, hork-bajir, and taxxon worlds all had gravity comparable to earth
