I'm having problems guiding my cursor (using the arrow keys) through the text box when typing any kind of reply, be it quick reply, regular replies, PM replies, modifying replies, etc.
When using the left and right keys, the cursor stays on the same line rather than progressing to the next line, or regressing to the previous line.
Sometimes when I try to go up a line, the cursor will lag, or not go up at all. There are also other times that the cursor won't go to the top line for anything. I can move the cursor up and down all the other lines, but it will not go to the top line.
Is this a glitch with my computer, or is there a bug in the newly updated site's text box?
-
Hmm, I obviously can't speak for others but I've never experienced this glitch after the upgrade.
-
Umm... yeah, that sounds like a glitch on your computer.
-
Have you been having those issues with any other programs or sites besides RAF?
-
No, just RAF.
-
This problem is news to me, have any other RAFians encountered it before? If not I would assume it's a problem with your computer Parker.
-
Damn. Well I guess it just be my computer. It's weird though, 'cause this is the only site that has that issue.
-
Sorry I can't be of more help Parker, let us know if the situation changes.

odd. what browser are you using? does this behavior happen on other websites with text?

It hadn't at the time; however the glitch seems to have lifted. I haven't done much posting or editing with my laptop since I just recently got a new charger, but I tried editing a large post and the cursor seemed to work fine. It may have just been a weird oddity that hopefully has passed.

all's well that ends well, i suppose. let us know if anything comes up again (exclusively on RAF).

Will do.
