And, um... Gman...? I know that we've inconveniently left your character out of the action, but I think that him being left home alone without notice for an undetermined period of time with a couple thousand dollars isn't too ... realistic. Perhaps you've got a plan for that though... if so, I'm not going to ask you to spoil it, but I'd appreciate you sending me the gist of your plan by PM. We really don't know much about your character or his family, so that might be a logical event. It just seems a little out of place though without any background to explain the 2 G's left for him all of the sudden.
On another note, Shaun will still have things he can do. There is the Sharing, which he's already gone to. And school will be starting the next day. As far as I can tell right now, Kristen (and *maybe* Chad) will still be going, so you could run into them there. Not that he should know they're connected to Brian, but still. Also, Brian's mom is the school secretary. And there's also Brian's younger brother Ben who'll be at both school and the Sharing. Also, he was at the Yeerk's 'search party', but he wasn't accounted for, infested or not. I'll let Jo and Tony decide this, but the Yeerks might still want him taken.
