I figured the Yeerks would set up pools and begin infestation in some of the most highly populated places...

Boston is number 20... so I'd say maybe, but I doubt it. They'd obviously start with the bigger places. California has three of the top ten, and so does Texas. (San Antonio and Houston aren't that far apart....) I don't know about anywhere near Boston though... Remember, it's still early on in the invasion.

I did this research before putting Mrs. Woodhouse there.  I didn't think that Boston would be a Yeerky city.  I've been playing with the idea New York and Halifax being Yeerky though.  Mrs. Woodhouse would not drop everything to look for her lost daughter.  I could see her coming no earlier than book 2.

Is Jo inside the apartment complex, or outside the fence, waiting? I'm sure a dog could find a way in through the fence....

Well, a stray, or any dog with no owner, leash, or collar in the complex would get someone's attention (assuming they saw you) and they might just call animal control. But outside the fence somewhere... the people there wouldn't care. You wouldn't arouse anyone's suspicions by being there, since it wouldn't be rare for a dog to get in.

Alpha continues to smoke waiting for the answers to his questions.

After the Visser answers my quetions and I get back from work/church tomorrow.  I don't think that there is pool is Boston I just want to make sure with him.  Or I can post and ignore the questions about Mrs. Woodhouse.  (she needs a first name now doesn't she?)
