Found it!

Quote from: Book 12: The Reaction

Marco invented his own lyrics and sang along. "Entertainment Tonight,
we're so glib and so light. Entertainment Tonight, we got stars all
right! We'll entertain you and drain you of all your thoughts tonight,
yeah, yeah, yeah yeah!"

Jake threw a pillow and hit Marco in the back of his head.

Thought so. I believe that quote is from the last chapter when they're all just hanging out watching TV.

Yeah, right! I wish!

When I found the quote, I downloaded the PDF file from the site's ebooks. Then did a scan for "Marco". I found the quote and posted it.

Then, now that I'm at home, When I saw you theorized the placement of the quote, I looked it up in my copy of #12.

Okay, I have a question.

What is the standard crew of a Bug fighter?  Is it one Taxxon and one Hork-Bajir, or just one Taxxon?  I can't quite remember for sure which one it was . . .

And, just to make sure, could someone point me to which book that is mentioned in?

Oh, and I always wondered: why on earth (well, off it, I suppose) would they retrofit a fighter for a one of a kind Taxxon with too many arms?
You need to put in the new panel, find somewhere to put them, reorganize the entire control scheme...
Man has earned his right to hold this planet against all comers, by virtue of occasionally producing someone totally bat**** insane.

Because Taxxons make good pilots, and there is a limited number of activities that Taxxons are actually suited for. Why make the pilot console for Hork hands, when you would need Horks on the ground? It seems effecient to me.

Oh yeah. I remember him having a hard time with the controls, and complaining that it was probably made for a Taxxo n with more arms than ususal.

How is Visser 3's host body Alloran kept from using his tail blade on himself? I'd assume they put him in restraints as well as his tail, but then how is Alloran kept from morphing out of the restraints? Visser 3 has acquired many deadly morphs from alien planets, I'd assume that Alloran could morph and break the restraints and kill whatever Hork-Bajir and Taxxons they sent to subdue him. Or Alloran could try morphing something like a Kafit bird that doesn't have an ear canal that can be infested, so then he'd be a nothlit and useless to the Visser. Or has he just lost his will to fight from two decades of being a host? I never quite got that.

Good question. I would assume that his host body is knocked out and kept sedated or something while the Yeerk swims in the pool.

Yeah, that is the way he was infested. makes sense that that's the way he is released.

Do you think he knocks himself out with his own tail? Or does he trust one of his subordinates to do it for him? Maybe he sedates himself with some sort of chemical.
