I think you're right. I just remembered I could check #18. I just couldn't remember what other book besides the andalite chronicles mentioned kafit birds

when did the tailstrike appear?

I keep trying to remember all of the names of the relevant dome ships, and I keep thinking they're the tailstrike, but no, oh, it turns out the dome ship in the andalite chronicles was the starsword, and the one that ax crashed into the ocean with was the galaxytree.

WHEN WAS THE TAILSTRIKE?

WHY DO I KEEP REMEMBERING IT EVEN THOUGH IT DIDN'T MATTER?

I remember it too, although I'm not sure when it came in. Was it one of the two Dome Ships in the last book? I know one was the Elfangor...but maybe it was the other one?

I don't think so because I still haven't read the last book!

my only theory left is that it's the dome ship elfangor gets dumped by at the end of the andalite chronicles, but I haven't finished it yet

I shall find out tomorrow!
