Yeah, well, morfowt . . . never mind -- that's too mean.

Unfortunately I think that some of the very nature of the Animorphs series will be a hindrance. A lot of newbies to the series, especially younger newbies, won't understand a lot of things: like the massive amounts of 90's references that made it so funny at times.

Don't underestimate kids.  I had to learn that the hard way -- my neice always keeps me on my toes with how much she understands, so I really have to be careful what I say to her. . . . But, then again, she always has her dear old uncle (okay, I'm almost 24, I'm not that old) to explain references she doesn't understand. . . .

Easy, we make our kids read em.

When they want bed time stories, its time for Animorphs.

When they have show and tell days, its time for Animorphs.

Need to read a book for school? Animorphs!

School project? Why not do it on Animorphs?

...okay I'm done now

I agree. Brainwashing our children is the only way!  ;)

My brother read one or two of them and he probably knows half the plot from me talking to him about it anyway. My sister read quite a few of them and even bought some of them (even though I said she could borrow my copies) but lost interest at some point and didn't finish the series, although I bet I could convince her to. My two youngest sister's are still too young for reading, but they seem to like books and animals so there's still hope there!  :)

Yes, but do they like evil aliens intent on taking over the world?

Just to see RAF last that long would be awesome, but to see our kids talking in here about Animorphs like we do? That would be amazing!  :happy34:

Most parents try to do that anyway. It's the norm, as far as I know.
