Yeah, there's been a lot of propaganda against socialism. and he's not really a pure socialist. He's a social democrat, and he pushes policies that other modern nations have. He's not trying to have Russia's type of government, or China's. He wants Canada's, Norway's, Sweden's. Other modern nations have figured out things like universal college and healthcare. They've figured out that tax cuts and deregulation on the rich is a bad idea.
I have had to explain this to a friend. He said Canada has longer lines. I said Canada also doesn't have tens of thousands of people die from treatable medical problems, and medical bills are not the number one cause of bankruptcy in that country.
Bernie is a centrist. People just make out like he's far left, because our system has been pulled so far to the right that someone like Trump is seen as a viable candidate.
