Raksha heardd this and looked at them in surprise. "Wait that can happen?" she asked in awe. "I didn't think morphing worked that way." she whispered.

Cassie sighed and nodded in response to Jake, then broke away from the other Animorphs, rejoining her parents so as not to cause any more suspicion than they already had that anything was wrong or out of the ordinary.

Shawn whispered to Raksha, "It doesn't. We don't understand what happened with Tobias, but we'll have to wait for dinner to be over before we can get any real answers." He looked over to Tobias and said, "Tobias, hey, over here." he was sky watching again, "Tobias, when or if your time hits an hour, I'll start drumming with my knife. When or if we hit an hour and a half, I'll complain that the restayrant needs better music, okay?"

As Shawn was coordinating with Tobias his signals, Jake decided he'd been outside too long and walked in as the host walked the group to their table. He pointed his head toward the door and cleared his throat loudly to signal the others that they were moving.

Rachel heard Jake and shuffled inside.

Tobias softly shook his head and looked at Shawn before nodding.*Sounds good to me.*he says with a smile,abit uneasy being inside after months of being in the sky and in his favorite tree,but he was now a full member of the group again.

Raksha followed them to the table, her mind buzzing with everythin that had been happening lately.

Shawn watched Raksha go inside and ran in afterwards. He turned momentarily and whispered, "Remember the signals, I don't to have to kick ya." He gave Tobias a big smile showing he was joking, even though he was only half joking.

The host led Walter and the others to a big table in the back of the restaurant, isolated from the rest of the customers. Walter asked, "This is ours?" The host nodded and explained that the room was for private parties. He then went around the table and placed menus on the table as the kids came in behind him one by one.

Tobias chuckled then nodded as he looked to Shawn.*You don't have to tell bird-boy twice.*he says with a joke of his own as well.

Shawn laughed again as he continued to the table, "C'mon bird-boy, let's catch up, don't want people to think we're makin out up here."

Tobias smiles as he walked to the table.*Hey be easy on bird-boy,I've just got my legs for the first time in months.*he says,gentley walking with a small stumble now and then still.

With everyone sitting at the table, Steve felt it was an appropriate time to start asking about the strange new friend. "So, Tobias, how do you know my son? I couldn't really understand Jake's fast-paced ramblings."

Tobias smiles and looks at him.*Oh,well me and Jake are friends from school.*he says abit proudly.*He saved me from being bullied and I've been friends with him since.*

Steve smiled and looked at his son impressed, "Well, I'm glad my son was such a help. Although I find it funny, he hasn't mentioned you. Was ths bully episode recent?"

Tobias shook his head.*Not really...about a few months ago.*he says back to Jake's father.

Steve just replied, "Huh."

Jake rolled his eyes and buried his head in his hand. "Dad, he's just a friend from school. He wasn't doing anything today, so we hung out. I asked him to help with the clean-up. I don't talk about every school friend."

His father nodded insincerely and looked at his menu, "Mmhmm, no, I understand."

Jake didn't say anymore, he just looked at his menu.

Tobias softly looked down and looked at the menu as well,for some reason he had an uneasy feeling at all the questions he was getting from Jake's father,but it was normal to Jake for his dad to ask questions like this,looking over the menu at what he could get.
