May I just say that the detail in your conception of Andalite society is just plain sexy, Luke. :}

I mean rote sayings for Andalites. Epic.

....then again this is coming from the people who created racial slurs for a society in which a person's score on a test designed to measure resolve/determination determined their position, or Worth, in that society. Ironically human racism doesn't even exist as a concept there so I guess they're....caste position slurs?

Thanks you two.  ^^  I guess its a role I've sort of adopted, though I'm sure there are others who would contradict what I've self-canonized regarding Andalite society.  It's probably no mystery to you guys that the Andalites have always been my favorite species in Animorphs, so taking the time and making the effort to "realize" their existence (culture, society, government, social structure, etc.) is actually enjoyable to me.  I feel like there's so much fertile ground regarding the Andalites that K.A. never had the time to develop...it's just so easy to develop nuances and subtleties that make the Andalites feel more real.  That's one of the reasons I really love the sort of half-collaboration Scott and I have going off and on.  It jazzes me to see someone else accepting the canon I've developed and then making use of it and expounding upon it with their own ideas and interpretations.  There's just so much potential. 

Okay, so I rambled, sorry.  You guys got me on a subject that I have a bit of passion about.    I'll have to visit your universe sometime.  ^^

Still reading, my week has been rather full.

My theory went beyond just morphing gracefully and with speed. My character can actually control the process, slowing, isolating parts and even utilizing senses and accessing animal minds while "technically" not in morph. He can only do these hybridizations and alterations for a short time; but if need be, in moments of dire stress, just as Tobias survived torture by giving in to the bird's mind, my character can "morph" his mind only to escape into the mind and instinct of that creature while keeping control of his body and outward actions and visage.

That's my character idea anyhow.
