26 aired animorphs episodes but

there were also completed unaired episodes of season 2, (I belive they filmed the whole season from beginning to finale) what ever happened to them? where they ever released?  Could they possibly be released?  were they destroyed for some awful reason?

I am not aware of any lost episodes, and I know more about this show than anyone. :P

I can think of 100 reason's to destroy episodes of the TV series.
None of them are awful though

Didn't a couple of the episodes only air once or something? Not really lost but I remember never seeing a couple of them until I could download them off here.
