matt walked into the pool area...and stood dumbfounded. All those people...going to have their sentience taken.
james didn't think...he just wore an expression of pure horror.

Tobias rode on the thermal he was on as he could think back to the first time at the pool when he got trapped in morph.<I am glad I didn't have to go there again.>he said to himself.

Tobias flew lower on the thermal he was riding on to get close enough to thought-speak to Jake.<Hey....going....fin e? ....Clear....nothin g....out of....>he said,knowing only some of the words would be heard and others wouldn't be.

James cut for the stairs and fled as a bunch of hork-bajir noticed a group of hork-bajir looking very suspicious.
they came toward the group as they group stared after james.
"Who darsfrek are breciod?" one asked shaun.

matt cringed, preparing for the end. what happened was quite different. "derash i grash no roden idea." (i had no idea.)
"dash way." he moved forward into the cavern... but matt wasn't so sure he wanted to go.
(anyone else seriously think they are accepting this too easily? james is justified in his mental breakdown. i probably would have one too.)

(0.0 k.a. applegate has inconsistancies. if you own animorphs book 1 read page 56! jake talks to tobias with his thought when he's not in morph!!!!!and tobias [in morph] hears it!!!! that means according to the first book, you can talk to a morphed person with your thoughts when you aren't morphed!! i'll write the text.

     I wondered if Tobias had heard my thought. i
 concentrated. Tobias, can you hear me?
     <Yeah,> he said. <I hear you.>



see!!!! those are the book 1's exact words!!!! jake was not morphed and Tobias was in cat morph!!!)

After you take him out find James, go back to the supply room and then morph battle morphs. Wait for us to get back to the supply room but if we aren't back in twenty minutes get out of the pool and don't come back for us.> Jake said privately so that all could hear.

<you got it jake.> matt went with the hork-bajir towards the stairs. they reached the top, and matt was struck in the head.
James leaped from the shadows, punching a hork-bajir as he did so. he sliced deep into the face of another and then backed off, ready to battle the other two as he did so. <you freaks.> he said in a dark low thoughspeak.
