Ryno, might I make a suggestion?

Your characters might be more successful in the bar if they do not come in looking for a fight. As others have said, fights draw attention, and often end unsuccessfully.

Okaru isnt just a savage warrior mindless beast. He was kidnapped as a child to be trained to the greatest degree possible with a sword. He has never had a friend or anything similar

It's very good and very important that you have given him a back story. And I think it's also good that you're trying to spice things up in the Bar with some action.

Terenia's point earlier, if that's what you're reacting to, though, is that the GESB isn't for fighting as much as it is for character development. This is why, when a writer has a character enter the Bar for the purpose of fighting or killing another character--especially a long-established one, it's pretty hard to pull that off. It's generally a good idea to run the idea by the target character's author first, just so they know what's coming and can save you the time if they don't want to go through with it. Hope that helps.

I don't think there's much between the scrapyard and the bar. I think it's kind of a parking area, so it wouldn't be far from the building.
