Hey, Tara, at this point I'm assuming things about the details of the Skimmer (like the presence of a distinct retinal scanner, and the fact that it'll scan automatically :P). Anyway, if I get something wrong, let me know, and I'll tweak my post to fix it.

The details shouldn't matter all that much either way. I can't imagine Salem getting very far in breaking into the system before Corliss catches him ;D

Yeah Lumy, it's all good.  It was an ocular scanner...and it was failing because there was no heat registered in the images you were sending it x3

Gotcha. Cool. I modified my "oh no he's hacking again with future-magic!" post slightly to reflect that- really just shoehorned in a few changes in terminology :P

If we tell you here, and your knowledge impacts the actions of your characters, then that's actually a form of god-modding. It's best to just have him figure it out through the story. If you want to have him directly address Elayne in the Bar (sitting at a table with Trey), I'm happy to get the ball rolling. As fair warning, though, she doesn't have much information, and she's not going to be likely to help hurt Ossanlin.

Well the reason i ask is not to better my character, but simply because i have no idea. i think he is in the forest, which is why I have Okaru checking outside, but i just wanted an idea of where hes located. Not the exact location

This is the form of god-modding I was talking about. Your character cannot think or believe something simply because you do. They're limited by what they have learned and what they know, which is entirely separate from what you know.

You shouldn't have him go outside looking for Ossanlin because you think Ossanlin is outside. You should have him go outside only if he has reason to think Ossanlin is outside.

Does that make sense?

Lol no problem. I was just hoping whenever someone got the chance, they might alert me to the direction Ossanlin is in. All in all Okaru is the kind of guy to search EVERYWHERE. So ill probably end up having him search the nearby area before finding him anyways
