You have it backwards. You determine how the person affects you. The person doesn't determine how they affect you.

What I'd add is that, while you determine how your own character is impacted by others, it's important to make sure other characters have reasonable options. For example, if I were to send out some kind of attack that could not reasonably be avoided, even though I didn't say that anyone got hit, I don't give anyone a chance to avoid getting injured. It's sort of a passive form of god modding. Just FYI, there are quite a number of powerless humans in the Bar, as well as Andalites and Hork-Bajir who have little more than natural defenses.

As far as GESB rules go, I'm sure Scinlao is taking good care of you, but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out these guidelines.

Welcome to RAF and the GESB, Excalibur! Let us know if you have questions!

I do, but I am busy.

Chad plays an Andalite named Claxter, and my Helmacron is also capable of thought-speak, however is otherwise engaged.

Umm...can't remember anyone else

If thought-speech counts, the Andalites do. That includes Ossanlin and Alic (who are currently out of gameplay), Efaen (Terenia's host, although she spends much of her time in human morph and is currently unconscious), Serid (Illim's host, in human form, currently outside the Bar, heading to the building), Claxter, and Tora (usually in human morph, currently in Myitt's ship). I think John, Frederick, and some others have thought-speech abilities too, but I'll let them speak for themselves. :)

Duly Noted. ^^

Is there an Animorph encyclopedia? I just want to get all the major terms in my head (I know about 60%. But its been a while since I read the books. Technical terms is acceptable.) If there is no such thing I'm sure I'll lean along the way.

Oh, I thought he was a Golden Retriever....my bad. At least a 'golden' dog isn't necessary for the plot as it's going...if it was, that would actually be kind of sad though, huh? :P

And here is a bunch of renderings someone made of Animorph species if you'd like: http://monster-man-08.deviantart.com/gallery/12275291

Of course, everyone has there opinion on what they look like. For instance, I always thought Ketrans looked bird-like. This guy protrays them as insectoid. It's pretty cool.

There has been a influx of large aliens. Hunter's guy is 9', Kurapor is 7', and Excalibur's guy is 9'11".

Sorry! I don't mean to keep going "poof". I'll get caught up and post. I really gotta do a better job of staying on top of things.
