It's all dying down a bit with the 'death' of Fredrick(Fredrick right?), so IMO, it's safe for now.

Luke! Here's the short version for when you log on!

Fredrick the Vampire attacked Terenia. She was injured, but managed to morph human before exhaustion knocked her unconscious and Temrash took her back to the ship. Baron, mythica and Scinlao's characters all ran off in pursuit and epic battle took place. The result of the battle was Silver and Scinlao were injured and Baron's character was killed. Fredrick is hiding underwater recuperating. Mar and Fredrick have been having a psychic conversation where they basically establish eachother's territory.

That's about all you need to know based on your character's current position.

Um...I wonder how long that Circle of Sacrifice should last. We'll probably forget about it soon enough.

A note to all current and future bar patrons:

Please keep in mind that while the bar attracts creatures from all universes and timelines this is, at heart, an Animorphs rpg. As such, please take into consideration the abilities of those creatures and create your own character accordingly. If an ordinary (non morph-capable) human cannot defeat your character in some way, then it is probably too powerful. Even Mar, the most powerful character in the bar, is extremely hindered. For example, he cannot so much as summon a bit of fire without ripping a chunk out of his own flesh, and if his character dies in bar it will take a substantial amount of time for him to be able to return.

Sorry, I don't want to be the bad guy, but I also don't want this getting too out of hand with unfamiliar universes and characters that could all grind an ordinary human to dust.

Tara, Luke, Kelly, Marie? Feel free to correct me if I'm overstepping here.

Thanks for posting this, Jessi. For me, since my characters are wholly embedded in the Animorphs 'verse, fights like the recent one are extremely frustrating because they would destroy my characters in a heartbeat. The only reason Terenia/Efaen got away with as little damage as they did is because 3 or 4 people came to their rescue. Tora and Elayne would not be able to hold off attacks from many Bar characters simply because they're human (or, in Tora's case, usually in human form).

I respect that folks are developing characters, and with that comes character consistency, so I don't expect anyone to fundamentally change his or her characters, but being conscious of the inabilities of most Animorphs 'verse characters so as to avoid powergaming would be helpful. Thanks, guys.

That's fine, Terenia. As I say, Pariah can only do so much until he needs to feed, something he can't do near the bar.

For all intents and purposes, I'm toying with the idea of killing him off, since he was somewhat of a test-character and does seem somewhat out-of-place here

If I do kill him off, I may just frenzy/bezerk him in some sort of failed attempt to gain more Reptilinod abilities (I intend this to go down with no casualties), at which point *cough* An illusion directed at the thousands of minds within him would surely drive him mad and into a trap *cough*...
