Animorphs Fan-Fiction idea.

I put this under 'fan fiction' so hopefully this works.

I've been trying to get back into writing my fan-fiction, as well as short stories. I'm busy with school, but my plan is to write at least one short story per day through to the reprint.

I had this amusing idea - and thought I'd throw it out there for other people who like writing fan-fiction -  but at FF.net Animorphs is #12 when you look up books by popularity. If people writing fan-fiction for Animorphs on other websites posted their stuff at FF.net as well, or wrote new stuff in large quantities, we could try to bump Animorphs up to #10 by its 10 year end date May 2011 (which will also be its reprint month and year.)

I don't know if we could actually get to #10 by May 2011, but I thought it could be an interesting goal!

Cool, sounds like something RAFians could help with. When I next work on my fic I'll be sure to post any updates on fanfiction.net as well as on here.

There is also so much fan-fiction on LJ that didn't get put on FF.net as well. If people started posting their fics on FF.net as well as the forums or LJ and we had people posting once a week or once a day... It wouldn't take long for that to build up. 

This would be amazing.

I just hope I can keep writing a short story per day and actually get back into updating my main stories again.

Yeah I'm way behind on my fic, I just go in and out of the phase where I feel like writing more of it. I'll write a decent amount and then leave it for ages before going back to it.

Phew. Awesome project - I've been seriously neglecting ff.net. I'd love to help, but right now things are kind of crazy. I'll probably join in the posting after NaNo is over!
