They're renovating the plaza in my neighborhood.

I went through there yesterday, looking at all the half empty bottles, and cranes and debris and looked at the sky.

No ships.

Well, I guess it's not an abandoned site.
Something, something, oh crap I pissed everyone off again....

At lecture on vision today.
Guy who does modeling makes case that human vision isn't all that much worse than raptors. And broadly, there's evidence for this.

Applegate.
Tobias.
Perceptions.
Dashed

One more thing Tobias was needlessly moping about
Something, something, oh crap I pissed everyone off again....

Yeah, but there is more to vision than just the clarity your eyeballs can achieve.  A lot of it is in how your brain interprets the massive amount of visual data it's being given.  I once read a study talking about how colorblind people can actually spot movement better than people without colorblindness.  And, speaking as a person with deuteranopia (red/green colorblindness) I can say that I always spotted people in Call of Duty faster than my brother did.  I can remember hundreds of times my brother just swept the camera right past an enemy soldier running straight for him while I shouted,"QUICK GET THE GUY THE GUY YOU JUST PASSED QUICK"  *ded*  XD

So yeah, we might be on par with a bird of prey's eyes, but they'd probably be better at processing a lot more peripheral stuff and picking out movement while sweeping a huge area than we would be.  After all, that is what they have to do to survive, all day every day.

Mom, what else do you think I would've thought when I opened the paper and saw a headline "Youth held on morphing charge". :P

I just re-read book 18, and realised a plothole: Why is Ax angsting over V3 having a Kafit bird if it's one of the basic morphs and Alloran could have easily had the morph before getting yeerk'd.

CinnamonBunzuh is a review blog on blogspot owned by adam (yes, this forum's adam) and a crazy lady called ifi. Ifi has a fanon where V3 owns loads of cats.

Ooh, the same Instagram had this totally hilarious fan art where Visser Three was covered in kittens. It's quite the villainous trope. ;)
