Oh man, I love Ax in #49.  And he's hilarious in #28, even though I don't really like that one.

Recently it seems I've developed this habit of comparing all characters to the Animorphs...when reading Watership Down a few days ago, I kept thinking "Hazel is Jake, Bigwig is Rachel, Fiver is Cass--oh jeez, what is WRONG with me?!!"  :P
AH! The same thing happened to me when I re-read that book last week!  :happy30: ^^ #28 He was hilarious in, even that one was so-so.

I was so happy when my brother handed me A.C. last year...Thank god his teacher had it and he remembered I like Animorphs.
There's a method to my madness, I just haven't figured it out yet.

My friend and I used to huddle in the corner at reading time and take turns reading from Animorphs books. *sigh* Good times, good times.
If you are not in my avatar, and would like to be, or if you changed your name and avatar and would like me to update it, PM me. I cannot add or change anyone at the moment as I lost the file I use for this, but if people still want in, I'll work on it.

That's how most people are. They just don't understand.

I remember one day the teacher came over and asked us to read for him. He seemed slightly disturbed, very confused, and completely weirded out afterward. I think it was one of the darker scenes.

I got one person to read MM4 once...After he finished he came up to me and said "I didn't understand that at all, but it was good."

Yeah. I find it funny that even with the explanations at the beginning of each book, they still don't make sense until you read the first one.

you mean never read animorphs right?

yeah all of my friends are like that too...or at least the friends that know I read animorphs. It's not that I keep it a secret, it's just that I have no reason to tell most of them.

No, I meant that ever read it. She read them, but isn't really obsessed with them, yet I am...

Yeah, I kept trying to read a random one, but I couldn't cuz it didn't make sense to me and I could never find the first one.

I became friends with someone at my highschool mainly because he read Animorphs. We saw each other sitting at separate lunch tables, reading the latest issue, and started hanging out ever since. He knew a guy that worked at a store that got the latest issues about as soon as it was possible to get one, so he was quite up to date.

Sometimes I wonder what he thought of the progressive darkness of the later books, and the ending. Alas, I graduated before then and never saw him again.

Lol.  I knew NOBODY who read animorphs when I was reading them in school, they all sort of looked at me like I was on drugs when I mentioned anything about "oh, this sci-fi series I read, Animorphs..."

o man, this one time, at band camp in fourth grade, we had to talk about what we where reading, and someone had read an Animorphs book at random, so when they where done the teacher referred me as an expert, and I gave a little presentation "There are currently about 30 Animorph books including special edition (chronicles). The stories are narrated in order by Jake who....."

Took a got while to shut me up :D
Something, something, oh crap I pissed everyone off again....

I knew one kid who did, and he was my best friend thru 3rd grade (when I switched schools)
I wasnt reading animorphs, bit we shared a great deal in common.... makes even more sense now...
*anything* is possible, *some* things are probable, this is what is.
And I will continue to deal with what is...
Until it is no more....
