lol I also can't ^_^' I simply didn't read enough comics (did I already read American comics...? oh, yes, I remember now... yes, once or twice ^_^') to try to draw like that... I read a lot of manga, I read a lot of French/Belgian "comics" ("BD" in French), so I can draw a little like them... but not like American comics about heroes... If somebody here can draw like that, with so wonderful face, body, movements and colors... well, it's sure I'll be one of the first to ask him to draw ^_^

Well, time to get this restarted-still no one has submitted any art to look at or writing to read.
Come on guys! We can really make this into to something cool! I know we can! :)

I can't draw worth short, and I love writing, but mostly longer novel-length stuff. A comic has to be minimal writing, and I don't know if I;d be good at condensing the Animorphs books into comic-form. I'm horrible at making things shorter, great at making them longer.

If it can be drawn in this general style, I think that would be KICK ASS beyond words, for the material.

No. Just no. Greg Land does not 'draw.' He traces. Which is why everything looks so disjointed when he's on art duties. Just thinking about the guy makes me feel ill.

Anyways, if I could be of help, I'd love to be involved with this. I do breakdowns, inks, and colors for this webcomic. I can't do the drawing or the writing, but I'm sure there's plenty of people out there that could.

Dameg, I say continue, but maybe work on Marco's face a bit. He looks...almost evil....
Otherwise, it's all pretty cool!
The universe is, instant by instant, re-created anew. There is, in truth, no Past, only a memory of the Past. Blink your eyes, and the world you see next did not exist when you closed them. The only appropriate state of the mind is surprise. The only appropriate state of the heart is joy. The sky you see now, you have never seen before. The perfect moment is now. Be glad of it.

I think color must be better, but in fact, I'm quite bad for coloring ^_^'
I'll work more on the drawings. I made them too quickly. Marco seems evil, I know ^_^' I wanted to show he laughs at Jake, but it's quite strange ^_^'
I gonna include Rachel and Cassie tonight.

Oh my Gee!!! Can I just say that having read this Thread, you guys have rocked my world with antecipation!!!
The idea of an ANIMORPHS GRAPHIC NOVEL is something I've ALWAYS dreamed to have a hand on!!! It's too good an idea not to give a good enough go.
The Animorphs series was something I was very into in my adolescence. But I too never really had someone to talk about it with, like kids now days do with Harry Potter etc... So it is great to find a community such as this one.

I do love to draw, but have never sat down and actually put effort into manifesting something this big. And I also know my limitations.
I love animals, but I am a rather poor drawer of them. It's a little something I am working on. To make it work, I think we need to bounce through a lot animal reference. Anyone tried drawing any of the morphing processes yet? Without looking screwy!? It's quite a task!

For now, I am staying away from the morphings and Earth animals. Nevertheless, I have already started on some sketches and WILL get them scanned and post them exclusively here.

Ok, this sounds awsome. And I'd love to help.
There's only one problem. Like most of the people on the board, I can't draw. Or, rather, I can't draw people worth crap. I can draw dragons. Currently, that's it. Mostly because that's the only thing I've bothered to pick up a book on how to draw recently. Though given a few weeks time, I might (no promises, here) be able to come up with an Andalite.
Might.
However, I'm great at editing and critiques. Since I spend most of my time as a beta for a friend of mine, it's no problem skin off my nose to beta this. Especially since it sounds AWSOME!!! Plus, according to this same friend, I'm an excellent sounding-board. So, if you wanna just have someone who can read/listen to you and respond with the occasional "uh, huh", then I'm your girl.
I'm not real anymore. I am an illusion. -Rob Thomas, "I am an Illusion"

Call me an country-bumpkins, but I seem to be unable to load my scans...
I've got them on my desktop but I am the site doesn't seem to have some function that allows me to load them.

Slushie Man, I'd like to know how you were able to post this image,
If it can be drawn in this general style, I think that would be KICK ASS beyond words, for the material.

Do I have to Signup with a site like DeviantArt to be able to link to here?

I found it on Google Pictures and just linked to it (Hit the little picture frame icon above the smiley-faces when you make a post, and stick the link in the middle of the html coding), but if its on your computer, you need to upload it somewhere first (I use photobucket most of the time, or my Facebook photo albums), and then repeat the previously-mentioned step.
