While Marco and Jake were deciding on whether to follow the hawk or not, Shawn was watching for any lurkers or eavesdroppers. He caught a young pale girl at the tree line, she was looking to the hawk as well, and stepped back into the forest.

After only a few minutes of flying around,Tobias turned sharply to the left and began to fly back out into the country again,in what seemed to be a straight line with Cassie's barn.

((It's your character, I was just asking. It would makes sense, as they're basically the only humans capable of morph; but if you have that covered in a back story, then cool. I was just wondering so I can truthfully say that Jake doesn't know you.))

Raksha watched the hawk and shook her head. "What is with this guy? He must really be attatched to these people if he is fussing over them so much." she thought to herself.

Marco was already shrinking inside Elayne's hologram when he told Jake, "Don't worry, I'll be there. The party can't get started wit-haaa maaa." An osprey beak replaced his human lips and he gave up trying to speak. His body dwindled to the size of a bird of prey not much different in size from a football. Trying not to think about the portion of his mass now hanging out i Z-Space, he glanced around to make sure no one was watching, then took off, flapping hard to get the altitude he needed to follow the hawk he hoped was Tobias. He clicked his beak in frustration as he did not immediately see him, and, after a little while of searching, decided to head towards the the barn.

Elayne watched after the red-tailed hawk a few moments, and then turned her head to follow Shawn's gaze. At seeing the pale woman briefly, she looked to Jake and Shawn. "Do you know her?" If androids could show facial expressions, she would have been frowning in concern.

Tobias flies like a normal red-tailed hawk would,flying calmy and silently toward Cassie's barn for some reason.In his head,he wanted to leave again,go back into the wild where he had been for..what was it weeks? But his heart seemed to control where he was going,to Cassie's barn where the group would meet up.

Raksha had lost sight of the Hawk with some of the trees, and made a mental frown and gave an irritated growl. She sat for a moment and listened and when she went to walk again, her front paw became snared in a simple hunter's trap. "Serious?!?!?!" she thought. This was not a good thing. She chastised and cursed herself for falling for the simple trap. She tried to shift back to her human form to get her paw loose, but she couldn't shift. Something was wrong..... "Soo not good!" she thought.

Tobias makes his way to Cassie's barn and flew in through his normal spot,but this time he landed on a rafter that hid him in darkness,as he wanted to be there to hear/keep check on his friends and stay up today with the battle against the Yeerks,but he himself wasn't ready to get back into the fight.

Jake stands up, re-situating his backpack, and asks, "Who? Either way, we better go. Thanks for the info Elayne. C'mon Shawn."

Shawn's stare into the woods is interupted by Jake, "Huh? Oh, hang on, let's go through there."

"Where, the forest?"

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"I saw a woman in the tree line. She seemed interested in that hawk too. Maybe it's nothing, but I want to make sure."

Tobias breathed slowly as he waited for the group to come.<I want to help them...but...my mind just isn't up to it.>

Marco struggled to gain altitude until he reached a thermal, and he soared upwards, searching for Tobias with his laser-sharp eyes. After a while, though, he gave up looking for him and headed towards the barn. He frowned as he heard a faint thought-speak voice, as if from a great distance.

Elayne nodded to Jake in response to his thanks. She retracted her hologram and force field so she looked like a normal girl again. "Call if you need any help," she told him, but she was following Shawn's gaze, interested in the woman as well.

Shawn walked past Jake toward the tree line and Jake exhaled, defeatedly. "All right, let's go."

They enter the forest and look around. Shawn asks, "Do you see anyone?"

"No. What girl are you talking about?"

"I don't know. She was pale skinned."

They explored further in.
