How have you not heard of Doctor Who before? Is it an American thing? Because everyone in the UK  has heard of it, even if they've never seen it.

Might also be because it alway makes the front cover of the TV Times every time its on... Ps.. BBCiplayer ftw ;D

I don't get the TV Times, lol. Besides, even BEFORE the modern series started in 2005 everyone knew about it and nobody my age had seen the old series.

I had heard of it when I was a kid, but the name just sounded stupid, so I never got into it.

Also, british broadcasting isn't really highlighted here, no. We have BBC, but it's not a commanding channel.

We have so many channels and so many other productions it takes our focus away.

I'm actually thinking of starting from as early as I can. Yay for Netflix!
