Character designs
« on: August 30, 2009, 07:59:25 PM »
These are some stylesheets for what I have in mind for the main characters. Basically how they will look and what they will wear. Worth noting that in Rachel, she'll be wearing something different more often than the others. I am still to do Ax's human morph and the looks of other characters.

If anyone is interested, I've still been posting stuff related to an Animorphs Graphic Novel in me photobucket linked on my avatar. Comments and feedback are appreciated.

It's nice ^^ Maybe a little less dark for Cassie, the hair a little longer for Tobias, and... I don't know but... their arms seem a little to long to me (except Rachel, she's perfect!), don't you think?

It's nice, mind if a criticize a little?

1. Cassie's a little too dark

2. I know Marco's hair was long in the first 10 books but still....IDK he just doesnt look right with long hair

3. Tobias is great just make his hair a little longer

Let me start by saying that you are a VERY talented artist.  :) Jake, Rachel and Tobias I can totally see in those roles.

Minor nit-picks. Cassie's skin is a lot darker than the model's.

Have Marco get a haircut later in the series like he does in the books.  ;)

Other than those minor points, great job. I don't think anyone could've done it better, honestly.

Thanks very much! Thanks everyone for their feedback!

Thy will be done!
We are just so used to picturing Marco with short hair, we forget he started with a longish hairstyle. Hehehe.

With Tobias, I reckon, to discern the character from Jake, his hair needs to be the dirty-blonde and short, pure and simple. Even in the models, I am sure I wasn't the only one who thought so. The model Cassie never had sported her hair the way I drew her here.
Scratching the look of the book models, I am attempting to create my own 'look' to the characters for the novel.
