I don't know. Maybe they took my suggestion, that it should be more difficult to kill a newbie's karma, and tougher to build the karma of a veteran RAFian, to 'equalize' things, sorta'. Give the newbs a chance, even when they are n00bs.

i think that everyone who smites should have the balls to say they did and why,  I also think its kinda dumb to consider smiting someone a punishment for something, some people have really low karma but i dont get any reported posts in my inbox so it seems kinda petty to me

I agree.  I doubt anyone would ever make me mad enough to smite them if I had to explain myself.

Not saying that I wouldn't be willing too...just saying I'd be too lazy...

sometimes i think if im speaking my mind truthfully enough and it makes them upset enough to smite me its good.  But if they ended up hating me for it i wouldnt like it i guess

Am I the only one who noticed that the number of smites people receive each day is increasing? It's especially happening to:

1. Members who usually have very good karma.

2. Members who spend a lot of time in the Animorphs forum.

I have an odd obsession with website statistics. I really don't care about being smitten, I'm just curious. I want to investigate.  :D *puts on stupid hat and sunglasses*

yes. I lose an average of 1.5 karma points a day now. before it was barely 1 per week.
