problems after posting
« on: December 31, 2008, 11:51:30 PM »
this has just been happening since the last time RAF went down - I'll go to post, and I'll click "Send"...and it'll go to a blank page.  I have to either hit the back button, or refresh, and then if I refresh it'll give me a message saying "you already submitted this" and I have to go through even more refreshes and going back a few pages for anything to show up.

It's just one of those little annoying things...is there anything I can do to fix that?

Interesting. The forum doesn't report any error messages. But since you say it happens only after the last downtime; I'm almost sure it has to do with our latest host.

In any case I'll revert to our old host in the coming days.

If anyone else has this problem, just post below to see if this is a widespread or isolated incident.

I've had that happen to me a few times before.  It wasn't just after downtime for me.  Still, this problem doesn't occur very often and it's not much of an inconvenience for me.

It's happened to me a few times, not lately as I recall though.  I'm on Firefox.

well for me, it's not a blank page. it says the connection timed out. I figured it was just my bad connection in china. haven't had that happen for a while though...

I'll move back to our old host after the 4th of January; see if these problems erase themselves.
