Jake did get his parents back, it mentions him visiting them sometimes in the last book, after he's losing it.

I doubt the Yeerks would do anything with Homer. Unless Jake's house was in the area the bugfighters destroyed, he probably stayed home until everything was over. Then Jake's parents contiunued caring for him until he died of old age. The end.

I always thought they should have split up ang got all the parents at once. Cassie and Erek could save Cassie's parents, Rachel and Marco could save Rachel's parents, and Jake, Ax, and Tobias could've gone and saved Jake's parents and capture Tom(which couldve changed Rachel's fate in the end)

I just breathed a huge sigh of relief. I hadn't seen these possibilities for Homer's survival. All plausible. Thank God!

He wasn't mentioned at all in the end...maybe he became a controller and was later killed in the war.  Or maybe KAA just forgot to tell us what happened to him. xD

She would have needed at least one extra book just to fill in the blanks of what happened to everyone and their families after the war.

As for Homer, I would guess that even as Controllers Tom and the parents looked after him until open war broke out in order to keep up appearances with the neighbours. It would have been kinda cool to mention Homer at the end of the series though, living large with Jake in his fancy home and riding shotgun in his Jaguar.  8)
