they are all great poems, you have a skill that few do
My Theme song is The Number Of The Beast-Iron Maiden
Save a fire, Burn a tree
I put the laughter in manslaughter

"Vidi, Vici, Veni." - Julius Caesar

 Just You

Here we sit, uncomfortably,
What would you have me believe?
So will you stay or will you leave?
I guess the choice is ours.

The sun will set, eventually,
Indigo eternity,
On endless sea, with you and me,
But will we choose the stars?

Destiny is what we make it,
Choice is ours, so don’t delay it,
Fate is nice, but unrelated

So I’ll be choosing,

Charity is real forever,
You and me, should be together,
Night will come, as sure as ever

But I’ll be choosing, just you…

Regretfully, you had to see,
Not the best side or part of me,
I offer my apologies
You caught me unprepared

You loved me, and I liked you,
But shining lights confused my view,
and though I grew, was in my youth,
To you it was unfair…

Destiny was what I made it,
Choice was mine, but I delayed it,
Path was clear, but I debated,

But who I’m choosing

Wish I could, punch a dial,
Turn back time, to stay awhile,
Change the past, or gain some miles,

But who I’m choosing, is you
Just you..

Who is the Answer?

I’ve been moving around so much, that it gets hard to keep in touch
With whom I am because ends of me are scattered in different friends, cause see
if we have different identities with certain friends acting differently,
Then who are we really in the end when you’re reflected in people you see endlessly?

Is this the feel of forever? Netted separately together?
I feel like a feather in the wind, don’t know where I will rest in the end.
But if they say when you lose yourself is when you actually find yourself,
then isn’t the key to your self-discovery being lost in truly discovering others?

Even though I’m pretty used to me, it’s hard to think who I used to be.
Is it the world shifting and changing or the way I view it that’s rearranging?
Or both? Can I try to be my own thing Without feeling like interacting?
or is the meaning of being human interacting with other human beings?

All I mean is this,
I just want to mean something,
To someone somewhere
to matter while here.
And isn’t that our big dream?
For someone to care,
or always be there?

Maybe its in myself
To change and to try
To feel more alive.
Maybe its me as well,
To see someone else,
And be there to help.

So this is the question
Who is the answer?
