Overeating IS a real world problem.  I related it to Animorphs by talking about Andalites who morph human and can't resist eating everything in sight!

Real world, as in the world we live in. We live do not live in the world of animorphs. Therefor this andalite problem is a nonissue.

I had hoped that the morphing and demorphing process would heal whatever makes people vulnerable to alcohol addiction.

Morphing and demorphing should heal the physical damage caused by alcohol abuse.

If an alcoholic morphs a non-alcoholic, it would have both an alcoholic mind and a non-alcoholic mind.  I was hoping that the non-alcoholic mind would help the alcoholic mind resist alcohol.
