*Giggles* Cover coincidence
« on: May 25, 2015, 06:11:26 AM »

;D  Poor Mattingly.  I'm sure they're not knowingly apeing his stuff, but it has to suck being him if this style of image is going to be used for marketing the Ant-Man movie.

Person Of Interest re-watch.  Still stunning as ever.

I can't help but wonder if someone was an animorphs fan.

Could be the case, I mean someone as a kid in the 90s would be an adult now, old enough to be working in graphic design.

It's more likely just random similarity though.  I guess Mattingly doesn't have patent on blended transformation images.

A missed opportunity, to be sure. Coincidence, or Animorphs geekery? Now all we need is a reporter who knows about animorphs, to ask if the cover was inspired by it.

Also if Ant Man calls it morphing, I think we'll have our answer. Someone who plans to watch the movie should be on the lookout for other possible references to the books.

"Ant Man" reminds me of the time an ant morphed into Cassie!
