Love it. So much. And I appreciate how this would read really well to non-Animorphs fans, too, since they'd (presumably) end up discovering Toby's past later, alongside Taku.

For me, knowing Toby's history, that last chapter's like a bunch of mini-kicks in the feels.

Adam, I am continually impressed by your ability to write characters, and your ability to run parallel to the canon Animorphs story (you did a bit of that in Twig, and are doing more of it here. Sort of.) If I can ask, do you know about how long you expect Seer to be? Because it feels like it has the potential to trace out a very deep, very broad story arc.

It will be long =P I haven't actually planned an official ending yet, and I have various strands of plot I want to throw in. There are a lot of themes I want to toy with, and I can see it going for a long time at the moment.

Essentially, Seer is a story about the loss of innocence and stepping into a foreign world with no experience and too much responsibility. There's so much more I want to fit in there too, so yeh, it has the potential to go on much longer than Twig and even the Main Course.

Just caught up with this, and I gotta say.  Dude.  Nice work.  Are you a professional author?  With a style this good, I'd honestly be a bit surprised if you haven't had anything published yet.    :)

Toby was such a woefully underused character in the series.  Even towards the end, when the main characters are forced into proximity with her, she's really just there to confirm or prompt reactions from them.  Just a means to the plot's end.  I love that some of the best fics I've read (this one now topping my admittedly short-ish list) explore her in such depth like this.

I agree about Toby. I plan to flesh her out a bit more in the coming chapters, as well.

Now that The Main Course is done, Seer is being updated much quicker. Shorted gaps between chapters. And with my motivation at a high right now, expect the fic to become more frequent in updates!

Ya done goofed now, Taku.  Clearly, if he had watched more reality TV, this wouldn't have happened.  I think everyone should watch at least a little bit, sort of like dosing yourself with snake venom to build resistance.  You'll be in horrible discomfort over the next few days, but just one or two episodes of Jersey Shore a month will deaden your nerve endings enough to handle incredible amounts of stupidity far beyond the normal human tolerance. 

On the other hand, this does make me curious as to what kind of TV the Andalites have been in by this point.  :D

Just caught up again.  I really liked that conversation with Jim.  The dialogue was great, felt almost like a Tarantino scene with fewer naughty words.  XD

Also, is this actually in canon with The Earth Diary of Toby Hamee by AniJen21, or was that just a reference?  That was a good one, but I didn't finish because holy carp that last chapter.

Yes, it is intended to be in canon with Earth Diary. I can't remember what the reference was though... What was the reference I put? =P

Next chapter is well under way! Things are starting to build to a climax now.

Finally caught up, and now it's over...  I've been looking forward to new chapters from this for years now, and now it's done.  Wow.

That was a heck of a ride.  I really can't wait to see what happens in your next book.  :D
