Hi, I was wondering if anyone wanted to play an RP that faces your favorite superhero/villian against a full scale invasion of yeerks.Of course, as the super characters can be turned to controllers this should be interesting. Superheroes can fight supervillians or work with them to defeat the yeerks, or can even work with the yeerks cause, I dont know,they where promised retribution when the yeerks take over earth... As the power balance is a bit unbalanced, infinite power beings such as galactus, SS, the spectre cant be played, as neither pre-crisis versions (almost every pre crisis superhero could juggle planets). So go ahead, tell me if you are interested and choose or create a hero or villain.
Superman and Lex Luthor arent playable.
(And in case anyone wants to play this, I choose GL Hal Jordan).

This sounds like an interesting spin on the Animorphs universe!
I don't know a whole lot about many superheroes- I'm vaguely familiar with Spiderman, Batman, some of the X-Men- basically the popular ones. If it's cool, I'd be interested in playing maybe an X-Man (I'm thinking Nightcrawler)?

I would like to go as Batman and Nightwing. Or maybe green arrow. The human torch? Kite-man? Cyclops, Proffesor X, The Flash, spider man, thor, Captain Marvel- Oh dear i've gone cross eyed. Just give me a day or two in my special room to decide.

It sounds interesting, certainly. What are the rules/boundaries? Who controls what? What universes are involved? What about less popular comic characters?

I know that I want to play as both a hero and a villain.
I think my Villain will be the joker and my Hero is the Flash

Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Flash, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel (Shazam), All of the Justice League etc.

I see that Teen Titans are also a DC work! Would it be possible to be one? I think I'd go for Raven or Starfire. If not, let me know and I'll look at other DC characters.

Nah, if u want to play more than one character go ahead. If no one picks villains they´ll be NPCs. And I wont tell u what to do, that wouldnt make me no better than a yeerk :)

Not if we were underwater dealing with Leerans; or those programmed Hammerheads; or that weird underwater race that taxidermed those NAVY soldiers.
I'll play Spider-Man. Hell, my last name really is Parker; so I'm perfect for the role. ;D

Sorry, Darth Revan. The portal was supposed to open to New York city of Marvel universe. That way spidey would be sucked in to DC/Animorphs universe and help the JLA. Or maybe I didnt understood you post and thats what you wanted to do?

Have posted- hope it's OK, I don't know whether it's possible for people to just teleport into the JL meeting! If not just tell me what's wrong and I'll modify the post. I'm going by wikipedia for info as it's been a long while since I've seen Teen Titans!

Sorry, work scheduling has been really screwing with me. Late night some days and early mornings others. I do need more info though. Is this the first time this portal has been activated? You said it was NYC in Marvel; but where exactly? Did Spider-Man just step through expecting full well what was happening? Was the portal up high, showing the city skyline and Spider-Man stumbled upon it while slinging?
Do you have a set plan; or did you want me to think up those details?

I just went ahead and filled in some of the blanks for you. In a lot of the co-op stories I've seen; they've used Stark's building to gather. It allows a good view of the city; and it fits into the story building here.

Heck, I might as well clarify- since this is a comic book RP, I'm playing an adult Raven (and using wikipedia for any details not mentioned in the Teen Titans TV show) with glowing eyes a la this picture:

But her outfit is much more similar to Teen Titans Raven without the ornamentation (the brooch on her cloak, the belt, the accessories on her wrists)

Don't worry, I only plan to play as Deadpool; but I needed to write something up that made sense. I won't be bringing all those characters over.

My brain reminded me that being punched in the face by superman wouldn't result in blacking out per say, rather than something closer to a "brains on walls" scenario. :P

Ok, I dont know about the editing but about the "brains on the wall" GLs are really tough, and their shield/aura has been shown to shrug off flying through a star.

In the versions I have seen, a sun is one of the biggest things they avoid for purpose of not burning up.

Sorry, its just that Im such a comic book geek. Im assuming you mean the movie "the biger you are, the faster you burn", but their limits arent correctly portayed in the movie, its like that slow flash in the dc universe online trailer.

Super girl
Power girl.
Green arrows apprentice, who claims to be his niece in young justice.
Wonder woman.
Starfire.
Catwoman could be considered somewhat of a hero.
Batgirl.

In the comics, she has a super suit that allows her to fly, acts as body armor, enhances strength, and can fire supersonic blasts.
In the TV show, teen titans, her wings appear to be real, she can shrink to the size of a bumblebee, and shoots electricty from handheld blasters.

Does playing like Sailor Saturn (sorry, she's pretty ;) )work? She's like the only super hero ish person I can think of, but she's from a manga, not a comic

Damm, its just tjat were already getting into trouble with this portal thingy. So bringing characters from other universes would be terribly complicated.

You could be Shadowcat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadowcat). She's just a normal(ish) girl that can pass through matter.
Kitty is a mutant with the ability to pass through solid matter by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. In this way she and the object through which she is passing can temporarily merge without interacting, and each is unharmed when Shadowcat has finished passing through the object. This process is called "phasing", and it renders her almost completely intangible to physical touch. Shadowcat passes through objects at the same speed at which she is moving before she enters them.

Kitty can also extend her powers to phase other people and objects. Currently, she is able to phase at least a half a dozen other people (or objects of similar mass) with her, so long as they establish and maintain physical contact with her. She can extend her phasing effect to her own clothing or any other object with mass up to that of a small truck, as long as she remains in contact with it. Kitty can also make objects intangible by maintaining contact with them.

Besides her mutant powers, Kitty is a genius in the field of applied technology and computer science. She is highly talented in the design and use of computer hardware. She is a skilled pilot of piston and jet engine aircraft, and a competent pilot of certain advanced interstellar vehicles.
She's from Marvel, so you would fit in perfectly with my second character's entrance. She'd be great for you in my opinion.

I think you may want to wait until you can set down at a computer before you attempt to post for our group. It's hard enough for me to understand your posts that are sent from your phone. The syntax is mixed, words are missing, others are misspelled. We have amazing patience, look at the GESB and Hero of Legend RPs. They're still going, and we often wait a week for a post. We're okay to wait a day or two for you to find time to use a proper computer.

Dude, you're the GM. You control the NPCs; we need direction. We need you to post something for us to react to..
Unless you want to hand the reigns to someone else; you need to put more effort into your posts.
