Ok so this was a brain child of Gankhruun and myself, while in chat. It seems like thats where a lot of good ideas come from two people talking that is. What this Rp is is basically a new invasion in a parallel universe. There are a few differences like how we got our powers to morph and that we are not all in one group if we want. If you want to be a Yeerk a controller a whatever thats fine too. Infact lets have that posted here, for now Gankhruun and myself will be playing both sides just until this hops off, if you want to do the same just post it on here. If you have any questions comments or concerns keep them to yourself, only kidding feel free to post them here or PM me. I will try and answer them as quickly as I can.

Yep, we'll most likely just 'direct' the thread. All of you should have creative freedom within the constraints of the basic world we built.
Just a note you don't have tos tart your entry post as ours. you can write however you like. Near creative freedom.

Im interested in becoming a controller. So what kind of parallel universe are we talking, like a few different things, or complete opposite.

a new invasion. That's pretty much it. THe main character of the series wouldn't really exist.
It's really up to you guys what happens with your characters. All we're doing is providing information ICly, goals, missions... all that kinda stuff.
Like acquire X to help with mission Y to save Z.
Or anything of the likes.

You can just jump right in with no authorisation required. Make your entrance however you like.

Do we all have to be morphers? I mean inside the Animorphs continuity because I have some crazy ideas in mind and I could jsut start a new topic and see what happens but ill be more confortable just joining one...

Nope, you don't have to be morphers. like I said, freedom.
you can be whatever you like as long as it fits the constraints of the world which ain't that complex. It's simply a new invasion in an animorph alternate universe, that's pretty much it. We just provided tools as a starting point.

See its just that my idea for my character is like this:
Sam for now, was born as a feeble child and abandoned as her mother was raped.Then two Andalites nonliths residing on earth find him and decide to save him. They test on him a serum part of an andalite super soldier project that had failed with every andalite test subject but works with him improving him to a human peak level in every aspect (more or less like captain america) he is oficcially dead so has never gone to school and doesnt have an identity or name to hide. He lives with his andalite parents planning against the yeerks. Your group offers him a new chance to fight the Yeerks in the open...

Yeah, that story is waaaay sketchy. It veers highly from Ani canon. Sure the back story explains it, but you're basically putting a Marvel character in the Animorphs universe.
Though it is QH's RP, so he's the one to decide. How "alternate" is this universe?

You know it. I figured there should be a middle ground character, you know? Not just one 27 year old and a bunch of late teens.
Of course QH did put this RP 5 years after they got their powers, so even if the others in the team were only 13 like in the books, they'd be 18 in the RP now.

He's already been away for 4 and I'm starting to really like this thread and I want it to head somewhere. o_O;;

Again, not complaining. Not at all. When I ran my last RP, I gave everyone two weeks to reply. Some were in Australia with hectic schedules, so they got leeway. After two weeks I took their character. They then had another two weeks (yes it sometimes took that long) to reclaim their character or else they were able to be killed off. I ended up killing off two characters.
So I agree with your rule, and the fact that he's already been gone for four days makes the two days make more sense.

Hi! I know that an earlier post said to jump straight into this RP, but I wanted to check stuff first- I'd like to join as a morpher, but one that isn't part of CJ's group from the start. Would it be too clichéd to do a David and find a cube? I'm not exactly sure about how the original morphers obtained their power, so I don't know whether the cube scenario would fit.

If you read the roleplay thread you;;d know how we got our powers.
We kind of did away with the Escafil Device (cube) so that anyone can simply jump right in and if you want to be in a "group" that's separate from CJs... that's totally okay! ^^
We encourage this sort of diversity. *nod*
And it's okay to do a "David" as long as it isn't exactly like David. This is an alternate universe with no canon characters. It's just us. =P

Right now we're kinda all waiting on Quickest Hands Ever. I find it aggravatingly annoying that he just leaves for a week and doesn't even tell us. -_-;;;;

Meh, it happens. It happens a lot in the GESB as well. Sometimes IRL just takes over your ability to post. Sometimes it's your job, your family, you're out of town, etc.
Yeah Hawk, that was a great post. I like how you focused your intro explanation on different details than both mine and QH's.

I know, I get that but he could have at least put aside 1 or 2 minutes to inform us. In this day and age I can do it on my phone anywhere that has wifi.

Also, just to warn you: the forum time is telling me it's almost 6am, but in my timezone it's almost 8pm, so I think I'm at least 12 hours ahead of you. Hopefully this won't be a problem, but if it is, I'll see what I can do!

Hey guys, life's been fairly busy here. I don't think I'll ever be a week behind, but there may be some delays in future postings.
'Hruun, my character's name is Shaun, I said "Street" was a rarely used nickname. Kind of like Rachel and "Xena".
After a while of you guys calling my guy "Street", it may become forgotten that his name is actually Shaun.

I'd like to play my two OCs, if it's okay?
Melanie is a former controller who narrowly avoided getting killed after an accident caused the Yeerk to bail. They were going to just re infest her at the hospital, but she had a head injury in the accident. Trouble is, she'd have to be rescued somehow. (and the physical troubles would go away when she morphed the first time) She has to mostly hide to stay away from being caught...in the Proboards game she hung out with Tobias a lot, but since this is Alternate Universe, I could figure out something else. Her sister, Melissia, is a YPM controller. Melanie isn't totally comfortable with it, and doesn't totally trust her, but Arlin, the Yeerk, is on the right side.

Sure. You could pair up with Doomhawk and form your own group or join up with us. It's up to you. =P jump in whenever and be free and creative. =D

Ah! Oops...been a bit busy with finals, but had small pockets of time to quickly post on another RP, so I guess that's no excuse. I'll make a post now, I think it's a suitable point for me to do so!

hate to be a stick in the mud but the game died when the original poster bailed without a word. >_> He works in the army so maybe he was deployed or something with no internet access *shrug*.
Haven't been able to post 'cause my laptop was off into repair and finally had it back this morning. Will reply soon.
