Ok so i wasnt involved in many rps and wanted to get a new one going so i decided to make one that takes place in New Jersey. It is based in 2011 obviously, and we will start up once we get a team of 5 or 6 players then Hork-Bajir and other species can be added to the team if you want to be Andalite or Hork-Bajir just start off posting like you have no contact with the group. ok heres the background info for the people in the rp the main characters will all be friends of some sort and they will go out to a crash site they heard about on the news and they will find just a big empty space where a andalite ship crashed and the andalite will have fled to make a home in the woods where he then sees us looking for the ship we then befriend him after he says whats happening with the invasion and that we need to help by becoming morph capable and he then gives us the power to morph and we go on like that and the visser in charge of New Jersey and New York is visser 6 who has acquired an andalite host (anybody who wants to can control him)

Bio:Connor is a junior and also Shauns best friend they do everything together except for the fact that Connor can no longer play football because of an injury that he suffered to his knee which shattered it now he walks with a limp and doesnt run as fast as he used to he sticks up for people who are weaker than he is and he isnt much of a leader he is kinda like the body guard for the leader he will protect his friends at all costs even if it mean sacrificing himself.

3 desired morphs:cougar, eagle (not bald. regular.), arctic wolf.
bio. matt was kindof a timid child when he was younger tended to get bullied alot. he is a loner and perfers to work alone. if he gets pissed off enough he will release all his pent up anger and become a savage person. he normally acts overconfident and cool but can by kind of cold and disrespectful.

just to say you can play any species you want including yeerk just make a bio for you character and then once we start you just post like you have no contact with the group and anybody can control Visser 6 because im not that big on the bad guy thing but if it comes down to it we will play him when he is needed

Hi. If this isn't acceptable I'll make a different character.
Could I perhaps be one of the kid's father? It could be very interesting to have a trustworthy adult as an Animorph. They wouldn't feel so alone in their struggle.
Edit: He could also explain how they got in a high security area.
Name: Ryan
Age: 52
Physical Features:
Height: 6 feet 4 inches
Weight: 203 pounds
Build: Muscular
Hair: Black with streaks of gray, standard army cut.
Eyes: Black/dark brown depending on the light.
Important features: A large slightly curved scar above his left eye, and a massive scar going from his left shoulder to his right waist.
3 Desired Morphs: Some form of bear, possibly a big cat(lion, tiger, etc), bird of prey(eagle, falcon, etc)
Personality: He is a somewhat moral person, but never lets that interfere with a mission He is a good friend to have, if you can gain his trust. That's the tricky part, since he isn't extremely trusting. He is a good father, and very supportive. He would be considered the cool/fun/trustworthy father that many kids want.
Bio:
He lived an unhappy childhood, being relentlessly mocked for his study of guns, swords, and combat. This was because he was a very small child, and they mocked his ambition of becoming a fighter. He didn't mind though. It made him strong. Strong of mind, and of body, from defending himself. He pushed himself to overcome every obstacle that was thrown in his path. He began learning martial arts and swordfighting at a young age, later learning about guns. His parents are dead, they died before he was born(Father) and during his birth(Mother). He has no family or friends that are noteworthy, though he has contacts, but they don't really count. He entered the mercenary business when he was 18 because it was what he knew best, not for revenge or some other motive. During his 10 years as a killer for hire, he developed many contacts in the shady underworlds of various places in which he carried out his missions. He also earned himself a reputation. He is an excellent hand to hand fighter, and also with swords. His accuracy with guns is also quite good, and he prefers pistols to rifles. He keeps a rifle anyway, as it can be useful. After around ten years of mercenary-ing, he turned his life around and joined the legitimate military. He rose through the ranks over the years, completing mission after mission. He stayed determined throughout it, and wound up becoming a highly decorated war hero and general. While he was on leave, he met a woman and got married. They lived together happily for 4 years before he was called back into service, just after their son turned 1. Their son was named Conner. Ryan was a good father when he wasn't out killing terrorists, and made sure to visit as often as possible. He was, due to his high rank, able to spend less time in the field and more time at home. He was always there for Conner and his friends if they needed help. Most people know his name and some 'legends' that he assures them are true, sometimes jokingly and sometimes not. At age 50, 2 years ago, he officially retired. He is wealthy from his military backpay.

Ryan just edit your bio and he can be Connor's dad just make him not so military based it's kinda random especially how he has enemies so yeah just say some simple stuff about his personality and a little background about his family and job thanks

It's Saturday, Shaun and his new friend Matt are going over to Connors house so that they can all get a ride to the mall. Shaun walks up to the door and knocks waiting for Connor to answer. When he answers the door they just give each other a smile like how only bestfriends can do.
"Hey Dad you coming with us to the mall didn't you need to get something?", Connor yelled so his dad could hear him.

Tobias was flying high over his meadow,his eyes looking for the perfect time to strike.He was as pure as a red-tailed hawk could ever be.He had a reddish like tail of long straight feathers.The rest of his back was matted dark brown.He had big shoulders that looked kind of hunched,like a football lineman ready for the snap.Tobias's head was streamlined.His eyes were brown and goldish and fierce as he looked over the deadly weapon that was his beak down below at the prey in his meadow.
He had long since let the hawk instincts take over his mind and body after losing the one thing he cared about his friends and original Animorphs group.As about a few months ago,during a mission to try and save Jake's brother,Visser Three had surprised them and attacked them all with dracon beams before anyone could think of any counterattack.Tobia s had been one of the lucky ones to get out alive as he only had a few tail feathers burned off and some feathers missing,however it was different for his friends as they all died right before him and he could do nothing but watch as the one he really cared for,Rachel,had died right before his eyes.
After the attack,Tobias had attended the funeral of Rachel as he took her ashes and carried them off before he spread them over his own meadow as well as over the beach,where he and Rachel had flown side by side so many times.Afterwards,Tobias kept himself away from the humans and just lived like a normal hawk,as he had no more friends in the world,and the one he truly loved was gone forever.

"Alright then, let's head out.". He gets a weird feeling at the door, pausing for a moment. "Be right there. I need to get one last thing...". He says, pushing the Unlock button on the keys so they could wait in the car. He goes to his small safe and opens it, taking out his military clearance card. "Why do I feel like I need this... Best to listen to my instincts.". He puts it on the special chain around his neck and hides it from view in his sleeveless shirt.(it's summer in the game, right?). He heads back out and gets in the car with the keys, starting the car. "Ready to go kids?". After they answer yes, he starts driving to the mall.

Once they are out driving to the mall the kids start talking about what they are going to go and get at the different stores and how they are going to go get some new games. After like 5 minutes in the car they get bored and Shaun decides to roll down his window and all of a sudden he sees this kid just run out in front of the limo. When the limo hits the kid they are all jerked back and hit their heads against the seats in shock they all scream. The kid who got hit is just standing in front of the car like nothing happened,he didn't even haze a scratch on him but the car was totally destroyed with a big dent in the shape of the kids body on the front. They all get out of the car to see what happened.

(No because that is part of the story and the kid jumped out into the road hes an android so it didnt affect him and ryan didnt see him coming because he like jumped out to stop the car on purpose)

"...Wh.... Holy s***. Out of the car kids.". He opens the automatic doors, jumping out his own and rushing to the dying ki- The heck? The kids alive?! And fine... "A-Are you ok? What's going on here? Who are you and how is there not a scratch on you? I can get the car fixed later, but what the hell are you?"

"No need to be alarmed I am Erik King. I will explain everything in a moment let me just get us out of the road." He walked over to the car and started pulling it over to the side of the road. "There thats better. Now to answer your questions. Yes i am okay, two i don't have a scratch on me because this is a hologram projected by my real form so that i look to be human when in reality i am an android race called the Chee. We the Chee were created by the Pemalites a peaceful playful race that were very advanced until they were wiped out by the Howlers, but that is a different story for another time. I guess i have answered all of your questions now. I needed to stop you because it is very important that you listen to me."
"What the hell this is crazy we are on our way to the mall to do normal things and we end up hitting a robot like this has got to be the weirdest day ever and it just began."
"If you really wanted us to stop you could have just walked into the road and he would have stopped."
"Yes i could have done that but i needed you all to believe me when i said i was an android. Now do you have anymore questions for me?"he asked looking towards Ryan

"Hmm. They said something about possible aliens during a briefing once. I thought they were joking.". He takes out a gun and clicks it into safe mode. He taps the android on the head with the butt of the gun, making a nice Ding sound. "Well that does it for me. When your head dings you aren't human. I'll have to tell the government about this..." He looks slightly skeptical, but is somewhat convinced of the alien as he puts his gun away.

"No you cannot inform the government of this I am only here to be a messenger you are to go and find a boy named Tobias he lives in the forest in a tree overlooking a meadow here are the coordinates." He hands them to Ryan. "You will just have to yell his name and he should come if he does not come back to find me at this address." he hands the address to Ryan. "Tobias will tell you everything that will need to be done to save this planet and many more. Good luck."

"Can your alien powers fix my car or should I call my car company to come fix it?" he tacked the coordinates, and figures out where it would be. "Hey, this is near our house. What a coincidence..."

"I will get my people to come get it and fix it being disguised as a tow company it will be returned to your home tomorrow morning."

"How will we get home then?" He scratches his head. "And can't tell the government? Wouldn't they help us? Nevermind, just the first question. How can we get home? I'd walk, but its several miles so the boys would get tired."

"Um you can call a cab i guess im not big on the whole transportation thing i just walk."

"Well kids, do you want to walk home or try to get a cab? I could do either one.". He gets his things out of the car to bring back to the house.

"Lets take a cab it's faster and I want to try and find this Tobias guy to see whats going on."

"Alright, i'll call for a ride." He takes out his phone and calls his wife, Connors mother(you can choose her name, i don't really care. =P), to come get them. A while later they're back at the house. He tells her what happened and makes her promise to never tell anyone. Then he turns to the boys. "We should probably take some stuff there with us for camping and such, in case we don't find this 'Tobias' right away."

"Okay we'll go pack some stuff to get ready for this."
They come down a few minutes later ready to go.
"Okay dad were ready to do this."

Tobias eyes lock on his target,a small mouse as he folds his wings in and goes into a dive as the mouse runs through the grass.Tobias sees the mouse and changes his direction as he then suddenly opens his wings and moves his talons foreward as he strikes the mouse in the back of the head,killing it instantly,as he flaps back up and drags it back to his tree,which was a very old oak tree.

After getting all the supplies loaded into the biggest car that wasn't currently destroyed, he was ready to go. He decided to bring several guns and other weapons(Swords, knives), in case it went sour. He had, of course, taught the boys how to fire a gun before, but limited them to pistols at the firing range. Perhaps they would go hunting if they had time. When he was done, the boys were waiting. "Alright then, let's get going. Everything's ready." He gets in the drivers seat and waits for the boys, and when hey get in he starts driving.
(Make the trip last as long or as short as you want.)

The ride to the edge of the forest takes about and hour to get to. Once they are there they quickly take their stuff and travel into the woods to find the place where they need to get to. They walk for about3 hours until it starts to get dark and they decide it shouldn't be impossible to get to the meadow in less than an hour so they decide to keep moving. Once they enter the meadow they look around for Tobias but then realize they have no idea what he looks like so they decide to set up camp and eat. When they finish dinner they decide to walk around the meadow and call his name.
"I'll check the North of the meadow. Tobias! Tobias! Tobias!" Connor shouts as he is walking away.
I guess i'll check the East and that leaves you with the South and West Ryan. Tobias where are you!?

Tobias lands on his branch and folds his wings in as he begins to eat.After a few minutes of eating,he looked up and was pretty sure he was hearing a voice calling his name as he ignored it and went back to eating,as he had barely remembered he was ever human and it had been a long time since he had thought-spoke to anyone.

He searches for a while before sitting under the tree Tobias was in. "We don't even know what this Tobias looks like." he looks at the bird in the tree. "Hey birdie, have you seen Tobias? Heh, look at me. Talking to a bird. Maybe that Eric King android kid was making it all up. Maybe there weren't any aliens and they arent coming back." he looks back to the bird inquisitively. "What do you think little guy? You think we'll find this Tobias guy?"

Tobias watched the human walk toward his tree and then sat down as he finished the mouse.He then listens quietly and turns his head hearing the human was talking about him and then the part of aliens which he figured was the yeerks.<You already have.>he replied simply in his head,using thought-speak.

Ryan is a bit confused, and he looks around. "Hello? Helloooo? What the hell was that?!" he looks around more, then looks back to the bird. A few strings connect in his mind and he speaks again. "Was that you? Are you Tobias?"

A small smile appeared in Tobias's mind as he watched the human react the way he did which was normal.When he was asked the question,he simply just nodded head.<Yes,I am Tobias.>

"Hey dad we couldn't find him. Did you have any luck yet?"
Connor noticed a hawk sitting in the tree. "I wonder what type of hawk that is?" he wondered out loud.
"It's a red-tailed hawk as you can see by the reddish color of his tail, and it seems to be watching us very closely."

Name:Xerun Gabil
Age: 19
Physical Features: Brown Yeerk who has a light brown underbelly.He has a smooth exterior that gradually turns into grooves near his tail.
3 Desired Morphs: Peregrine Falcon, Spitting Cobra, Spotted Hyena
Bio: Xerun Gabil has a very serious nature, he was raised by yeerk society to be devoid of all emotions but rage. He tends to get angry very quickly and hates to be insulted. Despite his weakness of anger he has an ability which allows him to bond with his hosts to an extent of where they are almost one being. This ability allowed him to see how hosts are mistreated on a different level than a normal yeerk. This caused him to secretly join the resistance to stop the Vissers from taking over and enslaving other races. He is currently one of Visser 4's personal squad and he controls a Hork-Bajir host named Eluun Morjil who willingly works with him for the resistance. Despite his abilities he is unaware of Ellun's mechanical skills.

Physical Features: He looks like any plain Hork-Bajir except for the fact that he has a shimmer in his eye.

Bio: Eluun Morjil is known as a prodigy among his people. He has a mastery over mechanical affairs that even the andralites cannot compare to. He can also speak without any speech impediments that normal Hork-Bajir are known to have. He was captured by the yeerks while manning an outpost on Arn. Despite being captured and enslaved he knows that there is no being in the universe that is truly evil. He hopes to one day find peace with the Yeerks and create gadgets to make life better for all sentient beings.

"Yes. I beleive it did just talk." a few seconds passed then matt realized what he just said. "THE BIRD JUST TALKED!!!!!!"

Tobias looked down at them with his beak and talons covered in blood from the mouse he just ate,saying nothing now as he had no clue why anyone was looking for him or why they even cared he had just retracted back into the hawk body after all the disasters of what happened to his friends and Rachel.

matt spoke first. " Uh...hi...birdie... heh-heh...we ran into a...a robot......uh well actually we hit him with our car...truck...jeep. ..his name was erik king... and he told us to talk to....you?" matt is really wierded out.

"Wait a second you're Tobias?"
"This makes no sense a robot tells us to come talk to a bird like comer on guys we really need to think about what we are doing here."

Tobias breathed slowly as he was quiet for a few seconds after he heard the name of the robot.<I haven't heard that name for a long time.>he then looked to the other and said.<Yes I am Tobias.>he says as he moved his head to a leaf and dried off his beak some of the blood.

"well...pleased to meet you. like we said we hit a robot and it started talkign about aliens coming back. you know anything about that?"

phisical features: tall, pale, has blond white hair.
3 desired morphs: monkey, dolphin, dog
bio: james bellon is best friends with matt, even though they are complete opposites. whereas matt is a loner, james loves to be with his friends. where matt is cool, but has anger....james loves to laugh and is always cheerful, even when it's not appropriate (sometime to the point of annoying eveyone.).

Tobias's motions come to a stop as he heard that,his head jerking up and looking up into the sky,as he was thinking back in the past of his friends and the whole war with the yeerks.

(i'll use red for matt, yellow for james k? i'm just going to say james hgappened to be camping here and is about to walk in. oh and by the way james talks in kind of a sing-songy voice. if you've heard of tsubasa the think of fay/fai's voice.)
matt noticed motion and closed his eyes. "This is going to be one h*** of a venture isn't it?"
"hey guys what's up?" james said as he walked to where they were standing.
matt gived a slight smil and hung his head.

"Hey James, you wanna know whats up just a couple of kids with my dad just sitting here talking to a bird about robots and aliens and just some crazy stuff you know the usual."
"Connor shut up and stop being ignorant. James this here is Tobias"

"hm, well. that certainly is interesting isn't it."
"what are you doing here?"
"oh just camping."

just then something blocked out the sun and down came Erik King in his android form causing the ground below him crumble from all the power in his mechanical body. He looked like he was running from something and that he was being chased.
"What happened?" asked Ryan
"No time to explain all you have to know is that you must leave now the Yeerks are coming and they are looking for Tobias they know hes alive and they are bringing in Hork-Bajir to cut there way through to get here i cannot help you on this one all i can do is lead them away but they wont be following me for long once they see your tracks. Tobias will have to inform you about Hork-Bajir and everything that has already happened in this war. Oh and Tobias i really am sorry about what happened to Rachel, Jake, Marco, Ax and Cassie."
With that he started running away from where he came.

"Yeah what are these Yeerks we know they are evil and all but what can they do and what is a Hork-Bajir?"

both begin to run.

Ryan, Connor and Shaun begin running back to Ryan's car.
"Tobias tell us everything when we get to my car."
Just then a series of police officers appeared in the woods and see everyone running. "Hey you stop!"
Everybody just keeps running nobody even looks back. While they are running Shaun trips and falls and just as he hits the ground a police officer catches up to him and grabs him. "Gotcha kid now we have to ask you a few questions.". Just as the cop finished his sentence Shaun knees him in his family jewels and takes his gun from his holster. One of the other cops sees this and pulls his gun on Shaun, Shaun then turns and runs with the gun in his hand the officer is shooting wildly at them but cant seem to hit anybody.

matt gets to the car first followed by james. they get in.

Tobias sat calmly on his branch as he watched the actions around him and didn't react much.<If the yeerks are looking for me,they can come and get me.>he says in a emotionless tone of thought-speak as Erk's words had brough more pain into his world that he didn't really ever want to go back to.

Connor saw that Tobias wasn't leaving and turned around when nobody was looking to go back to get him. Connor made it all the way back to Tobias' tree without being seen.
"Tobias why aren't you coming we need your help?"
Just as he said that a blur of orange and black came whizzing by and took down the nearest police officer who was aiming at Connor. The tiger took the mans hand off in one bite and spit it out on the ground. The tiger then leaded on the gun picked it up in it's mouth and brought it to Connor. <Just start shooting them but don't aim to kill just injure them.>the tiger said to Connor privately so that Tobias wouldn't hear him. The tiger then leaped onto another officer and knocked him unconscious. While this was happening Connor was behind the tree shooting every once in a while to make sure he didn't get hit. The tiger then turned it's head to Tobias.<Tobias this is no way to help these poor people out. Erik King was only following the orders that I gave him because i wanted to see how you would react and the Yeerks think you died long ago Tobias they are after me. There is so much you don't know anymore.>came the voice that gave Tobias so many orders before.

matt notices that there is a tiger, outside. he notices a yeerk coming up behind connor. he made a snap desision and runs toward the police officer. he tackles the police officer just as the officer was going to attack conner.

no its a different storyline the war never ended its just that they were on a mission in the yeerk pool to get Tom back again and they failed because visser 3 saw it coming and had them all shot and thought they were all dead)

I sigh, fighting cops wasn't what I had in mind. "Alright, next time you pull that kinda crap I'm taking your gun privileges away. Try to avoid gunfights with cops when I can show them my clearance. Let's get going. Tobias, you wanna fly or hop in the car?" When everyone was in, he starts driving towards their destination.

Tobias nods.<Fine.>he then paused.<Wait a minute Jake,I thought you had me hid it..and you took it from the spot I put it?>he asked as he was getting himself ready to fly.

"Um sorry to bother you sir but those cops wouldn't have cared if you had military clearance they would have shot and killed you right there then moved along until they killed me. The whole military thing doesnt go well with the yeerks, they either want you or they don't." Jake said as he got in the car along with everybody else. "Oh and Tobias i had to take it because i needed to make sure it was in the area of the newcomers so that it would be easy to pick up. I took it and morphed into Homer then burried it in their backyard so nobody would find it. Sorry i couldn't tell you and by the way i know you can drive sir and you are the oldest but you will listen to me on these matters i have been fighting this war for as long as i can remember. Sorry to be rude but thats how it is and if you dont like it then you dont have to fight with my power you can try and use your weapons but you will be killed and it will be quick, you wouldn't stand a chance as a human."

<Ok Jake.>he says and rose higher on the thermal,to look around to see if it was clear around for them to go without being followed.

Jake hangs his head out of the window. "Tobias can we go?"

Tobias nods to himself and calls down.<Yep,clear but I do see some controllers heading this way on dirt bikes,but they won't make it before we are gone.>he says raising higher to make sure he stayed well out of the controllers view in case they tried to see or find him.

Off in the distance, a huge boom wrung out. Easily identifiable as a crash landing spaceship.
Within moments the smoke cleared and a huge black colored ape stood. His crystal blue eyes scanning the area. His powerful nose capable of smelling for up to a mile away.
Strangely enough, this species also had no mouth.
Soon Hork-Bajir controllers began running towarss the new beast. It fought back with ease.
Crushing blows being sent towards the controllers head, or chest. The wristblades decapitating while he flipped around and dealt more and more enemies.

Tobias jerked his head as he heard the loud boom.<Uh...I take that back,I think a spaceship just landed.>he called down to Jake and to let the other hear.

Soon, the great beast could hear the sounds of a lot of people moving in that direction.
<The cavalry...I must go>, His thoughts he kept to himslef as he pushed hard into the air and began kicking from tree to tree, his acrobatic skills aparent as he made a huge distance in a matter of moments.

"Thanks Tobias we just keep heading towards the house and once we get there i get the box then we go inside and i give you all the power and then tonight we go to the zoo to acquire your morphs."
"Sounds like a plan."

As he was jumping, the beast saw in the distance, what looked like a large amount of buildings clumped together.
<Must be a town or a city...>, It thought to itself.
Landing in a random space, he layed to rest and heal his wounds.
((the backyard is the one i had said hed land in, just a different way for everyone to meet))

As they neared the house Jake started his morph to Homer in a few minutes he was fully golden retriever.
<Tobias it's not that i didn't trust you it's that i knew how you were after Rachel had died i was the same way when Cassie died with her, i just wanted to quit but i knew i had to keep fighting for her to avenge her and to not let her die in vain, but yeah i took the box because i needed it to give these people the power to morph and i knew you weren't ready to know i was alive and not everybody else, you thought you were the only one who escaped but me Marco and Ax made it out too Ax was killed on a scouting mission a week after we escaped and Marco died two days ago fighting the Visser. I blame myself for everybody's deaths because i sent us on that mission to get Tom back which led to Rachel and Cassie's deaths, then when i sent Ax out to follow the Visser he was ambushed and made sure to go down fighting instead of letting himself get captured and then Marco....he told me to get out that it wasn't my turn to die that i still needed to fight and get a new team then i morphed to Tiger and watched in the shadows Marco's last moments of life he was able to injure the Visser barely until he was decapitated then i made my move and Attacked him from behind and i surprisingly got him and wounded him before being chased off with only three legs left.>

Tobias listened to Jake's tale of what happened to his friends as his eyes was emotionless,but his heart was torn by what had happened to his only friends and the only reasons why he was barely sane.

Yawning and stretching, the beast stood.
Cracking his neck, then stretching the tension out of his body. He then commenced to walking on his hands for a while for bored fun, as he thought to himself.

Tobias remained quiet for a long time before he replied.<I'm sorry Jake.>he says back to Jake as he flew high above in the sky.

I'm sorry they had to die none of them deserved to die but fate chose you and me to survive but fate had nothing to do with Marco's death he sacrificed himself to save me so that i could put together a new team i just wish he were here to join me in leading it.>

Tobias closed his eyes for a second as he remembered the good times he had with all of his friends and now he really just had Jake.<I'll help you man,as much as a bird-boy can.>he says in a serious tone,but saying the last part as a joke.

<Connor can you open the door so I can get out and go dig up the box and give you all the morphing power.>
"Okay."
Connor opens up the door and Jake runs to get the box from in his secret hiding place. Everyone gets out of the car and goes to the backyard where Jake is digging up the Blue Box. Everybody circles around Jake as keeps digging.
"How much longer until you get it out?"
<I just about...GOT IT! Okay i'm going to demorph now.>
After about a minute Jake is finished with his morph and holding the Blue Box.
"This box will be used to give you the power to transform your body shape into any animal or human or alien that you can touch. This power is a great responsibility and must be used only when necessary, by accepting this power you agree to fight the war alongside me and everybody here but you will be taking your orders from me and i will be appointing leading positions just encase anything happens to me. Well okay since I am talking about it I might as well make the decisions now. Tobias is my second in command then comes Ryan since he has the military experience Shaun is after that, then Matt after Matt is his friend whose name i never got then comes Connor sorry Connor but you aren't real big on the leadership thing you are loyal to the leader of the group especially Shaun. So once your all ready you just put your hand on the box and you will have the power to morph. We will be making a trip to the zoo after you all get the power to morph and it will be after hours so nobody sees us."
"So we just put our hand on this box and we get the power?" Shaun says as he places his hand on the box.
Connor reaches his hand out and places his hand on the box also.

Standing in the shadows, the giant ape like beast stood, and suddenly his thoughts echoed in the groups mind, <I am a 12 year Yeerk War veteran. I have gone to several different planets, and helped to protect the universe from this parasitic menace. I will help you all in anyway I can.> He then stepped forward, standing his full 8 feet 6 inches, with his arms crossed and the wrist blades curving outwards looking deadly.

Tobias flies high overhead and looks around the sky and the area around them.<And I am also the air force for the missions as well.>he then paused as he watched the beast walk out.

"I have no idea but he wants to help. What's your name and what are you?" Jake asked

Looking up directly at Tobias, the beast did a smile with his eyes, similar to that of an Andalite.
<My name is Shadowlance. As is obvious, I am an alien to this planet. I will reveal more about myself in the future. And on another matter, where would a human recieve the morphing technology created by the Andalites?> He said as he unfolded his arms to show no tension towards the group.

Loping closer, he sat and stared at the group, <Well that makes a little sense, but what do you plan to do with it?>

"Well i plan on using on these people here and giving them the power to create a new team because of the loss of my old one because that is what they would have wanted me to do."

Nodding, Lance sratched his arm as he begun, <In that case, I would like to join your team. I do not need the morphing ability if you think such.>

"No i feel like you need it because we cant have you walking around like that so you need a human morph and other morphs so that you are able to come on certain missions with us."

Lance nods, <Alright, well then ill take this side.> And places his hand on the side nearest himself.

Tobias looks around the area,keeping his eyes and ears open to make sure no one would sneak up on them,letting the group do what they did.

"To get the power place your hand on a side of the cube. There are still three sides left for you to place your hand on and there will beone once you two place your hands on it so there will be enough room for everybody."

they both shrug and put their hands on the cube.
"i see.but how do you...would aquire be the right word? aquire the animals."

"You just place your hand on it and hold it there until it goes into a trance then after about a minute or so you can stop and you will have it in you."

Lance nods keeping his hand still, <Very well.>

<This is so weird.>Tobias called down in private thought speak where only Jake could hear.<I mean with the whole Elfangor thing...and I thought I was so far away from the group then...I feel further away from it even now.>

"so...now that we can...morph." james put his hand on matt's shoulder and matt went somewhat limp for a moment then in a minute he snapped out of it.
"huh? what's going on?"

Lance withdrew his hand and loped backwards into the shadows again.

"James what are you doing, you don't just acquire people without their permission and Tobias I know me too but we have to hang in there for the others."

Tobias nodded and didn't say nothing and just let it sink in what was said to him.

matt chases james around the back yard.

"Matt cut it out and James don't do it again but that could come in handy one day."
"Jake, when do we go to the zoo to get our morphs like you have?"
"We will be going when it starts to get dark. In the mean time I want you all to think about morphs you want but more importantly your battle morph like my tiger is my own battle morph and Tobias is his own battle morph because he can't morph anymore because of the two hour time limit you have in morph. That reminds me if anybody stays in morph for longer than two hours they will be trapped and will have lost the power to morph, so do not exceed the time limit hopefully our new alien friend can keep track of how long we have been in morph. Now I would like to know what everybody's battle morph will be so I know how to call my commands."
"I will be using the gorilla."
Jake's face went grim after hearing those words come out of Shaun's mouth."Good choice I know exactly how to use a gorilla."
"I will be using the black bear."
Great choice my cousin was the grizzly bear and it was excellent so you should be just as useful."

<He wasnt refferring to you my magestic new friend! I made the comment that my first morph i would like to be a Seeker Falcon> Lance said in group thought speech. Standing he leapt up and onto the fence surrounding the yard. By carrying his weight right, the fence didnt even wobble.

Tobias lowered his head down and seemed to move a wing up to his head.What am I doing he thought to himself as he figured his hawk side was starting to make him go too crazy.

Quickly running to where he had left to where he left his armor.
Coming back wearing black metal plating on his legs and his chest, he landed next to them.
<Well im going to need a place to hide.> He stated

"You will come stay with me in my apartment i will get you a human morph so you can pretend to be my cousin."

"Lance you will get a human morph by acquiring all of us and combining the DNA together to make one person. Yeerk that is a word I despise every time I hear it I want to puke. A yeerk is a parasitic alien that crawls into your brain through your ear canal and flattens down on your brain and becomes in total control of your body. When a yeerk has control of you, you control nothing its like watching TV from first person but you know it's your body and your life the only thing you can do is look through the yeerks memories if it lets you. I know what this is like I have been controlled by one before and anybody controlled by a yeerk is called a controller, my brother Tom is a controller and I am fighting to get him back. As far as we know it all of your parents are controllers. My best-friend's mom was a controller but we made sure to free her before he was killed by Visser three the leader of the Earth invasion. The man who also killed two of my other friends using an andalite's body."

Suddenly a man around 20 years of age walked into the yard.
He was around 6 feet even, with Greenish eyes and blonde hair kept in short spikes. He was muscular, to the point that his black tee shirt stretched across his chest. His Black Jeans met a pair of dark shoes.
''Hey guys.'' He stated, his voice deep and baritone.

james froze, looking between the man and the blue box. "uh...hi?"
"hey back off buddy this is a private... meeting."

Slowly turning his eyes to the sky he began, <Sound like a challenge.>
Then he ran straight at the house, not once slowing down he continued straight up the house. Once on the roof he leapt as hard as he could...
...and tickled the bottom of the bird stomach with his finger.
Once he landed on the ground he tried regaining his breath, <Well I didnt kiss you but there, thats proof. Sheesh its been forever since i did that.>

<Whoa whoa hey now.>Tobias called down as he flapped up just enough where the finger was a mini inch away from his stomach.<Ohhh nice try,you almost did it.>he called down with a chuckle.<Good job.>he said in private thought-speak.

And so Lance once again focused on his human morph, and slid back on the clothes he had stolen.
<''Very well. I am ready''> He said in both verbal and thought speech.

"wait..." matt put on a pained face. "we can't morph clothing can we."
"i would've thought you had noticed that before."
matt started after james but then stoped at a signal from jake. matt relled his eyes and lookd away from james and james giggled.

<You can only morph skin tight clothes or otherwise your clothes will be torn completely.>he reported down before he paused.<Jake man...it's happening.>he says in a different tone,like back in the days of being in school,a worried thought-speak.

Tobias's eyes go into a full hawk trance,as his eyes locked onto the group,as he suddenly went into a dive,heading to attack them.<Hawk...in...control .>he said struggling in his mind.

<Just try focusing on the sound of my voice. The animal in you can be controlled.> He thought loudly.

"TOBIAS STOP THINK OF RACHEL WHAT WOULD SHE THINK IF YOU ATTACKED OUR NEW GROUP!"

james leaped out of the way but matt got hit by an incoming wing and fell over.

Tobias came to what seemed to be a midair stop.<R...rachel?>he said in shock as he looked around and down at his talons and then over at his wings.
(btw,I would like to warn you guys that around the end of the month,March 28th or so,I won't be on due to going to Ohio.So before I go,I will most likely find a way to have Tobias "leave" the group until I return.)

matt sat up rubbing his head.
"Does that happen frequently while in morph?"

Tobias just seemed to remain frozen in mid air,looking around the group and then back to himself but saying nothing at all.

"No it doesn't usually happen at all it's just that Tobias was stuck in his morph on our very first mission so he loses himself to the hawk sometimes. Tobias just land on a branch, you're freaking me out by just staying in one place."

Tobias snapped his head around as he heard what Jake said but it wasn't really sinking in as he then suddenly opened his talons and screamed out.*Tseeeeer!*as he aimed straight at Jake.

Jake saw as Tobias came at him and he picked up a stick that was laying next to him. "Tobias I'm sorry but i need to do this.", he said as he hit Tobias with the stick causing him to tumble to the ground.

Tobias tumbles down and crashes down on the ground and was knocked out by it all.

"ummm....so...when do we get new morphs?"matt asked, trying not to think about what had just happened.

"We will go when it gets darker."

Tobias just layed there on the ground,laying on his back his wings spread open and his talons still raised up to strike,but his head was limp on the ground and his eyes closed.

"Is he okay?" Shaun said pointing to Tobias.
"Yeah he is just out cold i didn't hit him hard enough to kill him, and Tobias is strong he's been in more battles than you would think possible."

Tobias was still knocked out,but his wings was moving some,but aside from that there was no other movement.However,Jake would know that when he did wake up,the hawk instincts would be in control due to him being stunned like how he was and Tobias would attack the first person who he saw.

"maybe we should move away from bird-boy."
"i'm all for that." matt said rubbing his forehead.

"Okay you guys go and hide i'll take care of Tobias." Jake said as he began his morph to peregrine falcon. After a few moments he was complete. He soared up into the sky and started circling Tobias.

Tobias's head snapped around and watched for movement,but he didn't move himself,aside from puffing up his feathers to make himself seem bigger in case there was anyone around him,not noticing the peregrine falcon above him in the sky.

Jake noticed that Tobias didn't see him so he flew higher using the thermals to rise up, once he was at a good height he began his dive. TSEEEEEER, he screamed in his falcon morph as he came down and he pulled up just before he could do any critical damage to Tobias all he did was give him three gashes i his back. Privately to the others Jake said, <You guys start heading for the zoo, I'll meet you there when me and Tobias are finished.>

Tobias heard the peregrine falcon's cry and tried to turn in time,but felt the talons strike him as he screamed in pain.*Tseeeeerrrrr.*he then whipped his head up,spreading his wings quickly and jumps up into the air and after Jake.

Jake flies as fast as he can going straight up but then turns and circles in hope to catch Tobias as he is chasing him but realizes Tobias is faster than he thought and he is right behind him. Jake has nowhere to go and Tobias has more aerial experience than him and cannot win this fight no matter how much faster he is so Jake turns and braces for Tobias' attack knowing Tobias may kill him he screams Tseeer and flies toward Tobias. <This may be the end old friend it's been real.>, then to himself <Visser Three couldn't kill me but my own friend can what a shame the Visser must be slipping.>

Suddenly both bird were enveloped in warm furry steel vices.
<Im not letting either of you go until you both stay friends.>

<Lance you must go get to the zoo and make sure the others get there too, I promise you this won't be the last time you see me i guarantee it. You must get the others there but make sure you don't get in until it gets dark. Oh and Lance tell the others to get a roach and morph the roach to get in through the bars and I will be there at the zoo do not worry but do what I tell you that's an order.>

Tobias flapped harder after Jake,his eyes locked on the peregrine falcon,knowing that he could easily get him as he arched his talons foreward and dug his talons into the back of Jake's back.*Tseeeer.*he screamed and then seemed to lock his talons in his back and then folded his wings down,as if pushing Jake toward the ground to have him hit it.

<Ahhhhhhhhhh> Jake screamed as he was hooked by Tobias and was being pushed to the ground knowing that his only friend that survived from the group would be the one to stop him. Just then time stopped and Jake was approached by the Ellimist. JAKE HERE IS YOUR CHOICE, THIS IS ONE I DID NOT WISH TO MAKE BUT THE CRAYAK AND I COULD NOT AGREE UPON A DECISION HE WANTED YOU DEAD AND I DID NOT. JAKE I SPOKE TO ALL OF YOUR TEAMMATES BEFORE THEY DIED AND THEY ALL KNEW THAT THEY NEEDED TO DIE IN ORDER FOR A BETTER WORLD ALL EXCEPT MARCO HE WASN'T READY TO GO HE KNEW THAT THERE WAS STILL MORE FOR HIM TO DO BEFORE HE DIED BUT HE FELT HE NEEDED TO SAVE YOU IN ORDER TO SAVE THE WORLD SO ME AND THE CRAYAK DECIDED TO LET MARCO HAVE HIS WISH. THE CRAYAK ONLY LET THIS HAPPEN BECAUSE IT WOULD BRIGHTEN YOU UP AND I LET IT HAPPEN BECAUSE I AM ON YOUR SIDE IN THIS WAR BUT THE CRAYAK HAD ONE WISH ALSO A SHOWDOWN BETWEEN THE ANIMORPHS AND A SPECIES OF HIS CHOICE, HE HAS YET TO COME UP WITH THE SPECIES, BUT YOUR CHOICE IS WILL YOU LET MARCO'S WISH COME TRUE YES OR NO? "I will let Marco have his wish I only need to know what it is." IN MARCO'S WORDS "OH FEARLESS LEADER TWO SOLDIERS ARE HERE TO SAVE THE DAY.", and with that he was gone. <What does that mean?> Jake asked himself as he was falling and just as he was finished thinking it a bald eagle came and knocked Tobias loose from Jake. <You didn't think I would let you finish this war all by yourself now did you cuz?> <Rachel is that you?> <Yes it's me you idiot I don't know how but i'm here.> <Rachel it was Marco, he brought you back from the dead with himself. He did it for Tobias not for me he knew Tobias wasn't himself after you left so he made you come back but where is Marco?> <Jake i'm above you and yes I did do it for bird boy I couldn't let him suffer like that, yeah sure I tease him but I did miss him and of course I couldn't resist to bring Rachel back but she was the only one willing to come back Cassie wouldn't do it she knew she needed to die and Ax was just to proud to let himself come back alive.> <Marco I don't care about all of that stuff I just want to get these new guys there morphs so Rachel can you please snap Tobias out of it?> <Tobias it's me Rachel i'm back you need to control the hawk in you I know you can do it Tobias your stronger than the hawk you are a human and you know that come on please.>

Tobias struggled as the bald eagle came and knocked him loose from Jake as Tobias shook his head,his talons letting go of Jake.<R...r...rachel?>he said in shock,his eyes quickly fade from pure hawk to normal as he quickly turned around and flew off to land on a roof of a nearby house.<No Rachel stop,I am a hawk now,you and everyone else know it.>he says,breathing heavy,looking down at his talons that had Jake's blood on them.

Jake and Marco landed and started to demorph they both finished at just about the same time.
"Hey guys i'm Marco and no my middle name isn't Polo but yeah i'm the funny guy around and keep the group sane nice to meet all of you the Ellimist has informed me about all of you so I know who each of you are and what you want to morph and I hear that Shaun wants to steal my battle morph well okay go ahead we could use another set of thumbs in the group. Connor wants that black bear well you better watch out Rachel just might want to fight you to see who is stronger the grizzly or the black bear. Lance here is our new certified alien may Ax rest in peace. Then there is James he thinks he's funny but will never be as funny as me, Matt all I know is that you were one of the first people Jake started to look at when Ax died and I still don't know why maybe I never will but oh well we need to get moving."

Tobias snapped his head around,left and right as he shook his head.<You are right Rachel....but you also got to know now that I am a hawk,nothing less.>he spread his wings,and jumped up into the air and flew off to provide air cover for the group.

Marco watched his old friend fly off, and sighed. He had grown attached to Tobias, before his death, and Tobias was slowly getting worse.
''Come on Gorrilaman and friends. Lets go get us some morphs.'' Marco said as he led them from the yard.
Lance groaned silently as they walked, <I miss my own form! Why do you have such short arms?!>
Marco walked within a block of the Gardens, ''Everyone morph the roach, and hop onto my back...if you bite me so help you god!''
Lance looked around nervously as he slunk into the shadows and began demorphing. Within moments he was slowly looking at his body change until the ground began to launch up at him, at which point he closed his eyes..luckily the last thing to change was his eyelids vanishing.
Marco to began to morph, and as he watched feathers begin to sprout on his arms and his bones hollow themselves, ''Damn. You never quite get used to this...''

Tobias relaxed some as he looked up to Jake.<Tom is still...>he paused in mid sentence,asking if Tom was still a controller.As it was during a mission to try and rescue Tom,Tobias got trapped as a nothlit.

<Yes Tobias, Tom is still and I hate to say it most likely will always be a controller but the families of the others are safe they relocated and live in various places around town that I don't even know of my mother and father are gone to. Tobias Tom will never let himself be captured or at least the Yeerk on him won't let it happen. The Yeerk would rather have Tom killed before he let's him come back to us because he knows it would break me and i'm the leader I shouldn't be able to be broken.>

Looking around at the grounds, he spotted some gaurds off near the other side of the zoo.

"Alright let's go guys. We need to get each of you a battle morph, a bird of prey morph and a power morph, like a rhino or elephant."
"Okay sweet I'm going for Gorilla, Red-Tailed Hawk and elephant."
"Sweet i'm going for black bear, golden eagle and rhino."

Tobias kept quiet as he flew overhead,he figured Jake had no reply to what he said so he just kept it at that,flying high up on the thermals overhead.

Lance demorphed and morphed his human form, then walked to the Seeker Falcon exibit. He soon aquired his bird of prey, a jaguar, and a hammerhead shark.

Shaun, Connor and Jake went their separate ways and all met back up at the entrance to the zoo.
"Tobias it isn't your fault you got trapped and you couldn't be a human while we were down there."

"Oh you must be Mike I knew I could rely on you to come, here touch the box and go acquire your morphs."

Shaun morphed to his Red-Tailed Hawk and was up in the sky. < This is so cool.>
Connor morphed to his Golden Eagle and immediately flew right up.

Everybody flew back to the house and demorphed.
"Okay guys it's about time we all go home and we will have another meeting here tomorrow because I have a mission for us and still have to choose one of the newer animorphs to lead the mission with consult from me of course. So I will see you all tomorrow." Jake then morphed to his peregrine falcon and took to the sky. <Lance, Marco and Rachel come on you will all be staying at my place.>

<No Rachel we don't do you know how long it's been since I got everybody's families safe, too long Rachel Tom is still a controller and thats all that matter to me but I know they are going to use Tom to get rid of me as fast as possible. Rachel your mom,dad and sisters are fine they are staying with mine, Marco's and Cassie's parents probably all still mourning over the loss of their children well all I know is that Cassie's parents will still be mourning for a while yours and Marco's are already being notified by the Chee that you are alive and are still fighting. It won't be long until the Visser decides he wants an open war and starts to attack so we need to rush to stop him. The Visser thinks that I am the only remaining threat besides Tobias so when all of us attack them they won't know what hit them.>
Rachel just let everything Jake said sink in.

"If nobody else wants to do it I will because obviously these two don't have the guts to do it." Mike said.

Jake concentrated on the peregrine falcon DNA flowing inside of him and the changes began first he got the feather pattern on his skin and everything else came naturally.
<Tobias we need you to fly cover for us while we are in there.>
Shaun morphed to red-tailed hawk and after about a minute he was fully red-tailed hawk.
Connor started his morph to the golden eagle.
Rachel was already starting her morph before Jake even said to go. <Let's go people we need to do this.>
Mike started his morph to his hawk and was done before Shaun and Connor making him one of the fastest morphers on the team.
(Can somebody take Rachel for me it's a lot trying to have 5 characters in one rp)

Matt all I can say is that you have to make hard decisions that could get us all killed just try not to think about that just remember what we are here to do. We need to free as many controllers as possible and possibly kill Visser Three. The yeerk pool isn't a fun place to go it's hard enough to watch people being dragged to the end of the pier and hearing their screams for mercy. The Yeerk pool is a sickening place and is probably where most of us will end up dieing.>

Both finished quickly and waited for a command.

((Well both of my characters just now caught up. They had been talkin about Lance's past and Marco told him about Ax. Lance agreed then that he would try and replace Ax to the best of his abilities. Neither of them are ignoring you lol.

Lance decided he might as well go first, and began creeping to the crack in the wall where he saw a light at the far side. He was surprised to see that the light appeared miles away, through all of his senses!
So he continued on as Marco creeped in behind him.

Lance would have had his jaw hitting the floor, if he had one.
The ignorance of humans! I have been in this fight before any of these helpless welps were out of their bowel movement training gear! Lance thought to himself, 7 years as a general leading into the fights against these beasts, and someone who accidently stumbled onto it thinks he has a higher importance than he? Did this mere child lead several different platoons into battle already? Species he had never even heard of, but would be expected to lead them with the exact same precision? During all of these battles, could he boast one of the lowest death records of a commanding generals platoon in the war?
Lance was so mortified by that simple disrespectful gesture, that even though wasnt sending out any thoughts, the others could feel his boiling fury.

(Actually the others are around in their late teens because when I started the RP i wanted them all to be around the same age because we are pretending that the war wasnt started with the animorphs being involved until later.)

Matt one other thing this is a stealth mission we are here to free people while looking like them so me Marco and Rachel will have to morph Hork-Bajir and get some Hork-Bajir for you to acquire.>

(you dont understand the war was going on but the yeerks figured out about an attack that was going to happen and the animorphs were ambushed and attacked that is how Cassie and Rachel died. Jake Marco Tobias and Ax made it out but went back in for Rachel and Cassie and got them out. Jake slipped when Cassie died and yelled Cassie which is obviously not an andalite name and they did a thorough search to figure out who everybody was and figured it out so Jake had to get everybody's parents into hiding so that they didn't get infested and Jake was fighting by himself here and there to delay yeerk processes. Now he put together this team and is going to try and finish the war. we are just pretending the war was started at a later time.)

now matt was radiating fury.
(james is kind of treating it as a game when we get to the yeerk pool he'll get a rude awakening. then he'll insult and stuff as a coping mechanism for all the stuff he sees.)

james gazed up and down uselessly as he exited the crack into the store room. <what now?>

Lance and Marco both rocketed forward getting tired with the small confined space. They both soon he emerged from the crack together.
Scanning the area, Lance continued forward slowly. Demorphing as he kept close to the ground, he nearly stumbled before gaining his footing.
Marco demorphed slowly, performing a pose for everyone to watch.
Lance finished demorphing and immediately transformed to human morph. He was easily proving to be the fastest of the morphs, obviously seeing as he had already finished being human

james demorphed and tried to concentrate on having his head go last just to see what a human with a roch head would look like. he succeded.

Opening the door silently, Marco allowed Lance to slip through and into the room.

Jake, Shaun, Connor and Rachel all made it through the crack and appeared in the small supply room.
Jake was the first to demorph. Rachel was the last seeing as how she was more of the action type. Shaun finished before Connor.
"Okay I know Matt is leading us right now but before you can do anything more me, Marco and Rachel has to morph Hork-Bajir and go get you guys a morph."
Jake and Rachel started their morphs quickly and were finished in no time. They waited for Marco before they left. They exited the supply room to find three Hork-Bajir. They walked down the hall a little ways until they came across some gaurds there were only two so Jake and Rachel both went up behind them and slashed their throats quickly and quietly. <Marco go find one and only one and bring it back to the supply room.> Jake said.

Marco sped off, and returned shortly lugging behind him a massive hork-bajir.

Shaun acquired the one that was closest to him. Connor acquired the one that was closest to him also but not the one that Shaun acquired.
Shaun started his morph and within minutes he was done. <This feels so weird, being like this is just weird.

Lance demorphed then touched the one Marco had brought, and asked, <So, will this species have a higher or lower challenge to control?> As he finished the question, he was already changing to his newest morph.

matt relaxed and layed out a fairly sound plan and then they headed for the pool.

Tobias ruffled his feathers again as he decided to go up in the air and look around some,and most likely get some more thermal flying.Since the group was busy on the mission,he could take a break from it all,and watch the known controllers go about town and possibly find one or two more new exits to the pool.

Matt set up a plan for us to go to the pool and secretly free some controllers. It seemed like a good plan unless we run into trouble.
<So where do we exactly have to go to free controllers without being spotted?>Shaun asked
<We go to the cages and pretend to be yelling at them but we cut the lock and then tell them to wait for us to leave. We go back to the supply closet and demorph then morph battle morphs and attempt to give them time to exit out of the entrances. Matt I know this seems like i'm doing your job but this next part is tricky and I would rather not have to many people die on this mission. The order that you go to exit is James first, then Connor, Marco, Mike, Lance, Shaun, Matt, Rachel and then me.>

James cut for the stairs and fled as a bunch of hork-bajir noticed a group of hork-bajir looking very suspicious.
they came toward the group as they group stared after james.

(0.0 k.a. applegate has inconsistancies. if you own animorphs book 1 read page 56! jake talks to tobias with his thought when he's not in morph!!!!!and tobias [in morph] hears it!!!! that means according to the first book, you can talk to a morphed person with your thoughts when you aren't morphed!! i'll write the text.

"owww...." He groaned. he was dazed for a moment then remembered what was going on. he morphed back to human and then flowed straight into cougar. when it was done he glanced over at james in his crocodile morph who looked tense. in a few minutes, jake arrived at the store room and matt prepared to five the order that would make all heck break loose.
