Since yesterday evening, when I try to open the RAFchat I can only get to this screen. I've always been able to enter from this same browser and connection.

Ugh.... You absolutely have to use that browser? I mean, look at the logo, no PNG support....
Anyway, tell me if you can now.

I might be able to switch browsers soon. The only thing holding me back is that this is my parents' work computer. I'll be wiping it down soon to take down the old programs and I'll be able to put mozilla or whatever on it. I'll let you know if I switch, but I'm sure that I'm not the only person using this current browser.

IE doesn't comply with web standards (as good as Opera, or even Firefox). That means when a page is properly coded, in Internet Explorer it will look how it wasn't intended.
Take for instance the screenshot that Rachel provided. The logo & advertisment doesn't have the right alignment, and the logo is off colo(u)r.

We should un-censor the word "Cracker"
And censor the word "nigga," cause i find it offensive.

cracker isn't used all that much in sentences. i don't really care one way or another.

As I said previously, I don't find nigga offensive; as for cracker, it has negative connotations which I can identify with, unlike nigga.

But a cracker is a Florida native. As in me. Besides cracker is a fairly common word.

I still don't understand the need for cracker to be banned and not nigga.
I already asked for its ban and gahhhhargggh its not. Right now, how I wish I was black. Then it'd be banned, huh!

I don't think any words should be banned. I mean, it becomes a question of where to draw the line, doesn't it?
But if you are going to censor words, I think "nigga" is just as offensive as "cracker"...that is to say, not very offensive to me personally, but from an outsider's POV I think they're equally bad.

not that my opinion matters too much, but I don't really care. I don't really find either offensive and don't see how either would be to anyone else (blame my ignorance).

I say this because Animorphs is targeted for children so even though many of us are older it is inevitable that there will be children on this forum. Some members swear excessively. I think that if I went back to when I first joined the forum and if the chat was open and I entered I would be put off by the number of curse words that are being said to one another. When they were censored I think that people found different words to insult each other to get around the censors.

The main used ones should be turned off, the F word, S word, B word, etc.

Yea. I didn't mention it, but I really like your point, Rachel. :)
Some words are just not necessary to ban, though. Like cracker. Calling someone that isn't much of a difference to idiot, or moron, or "you're stupid". But you wouldn't ban any of those words.

I have a question, as I want to access RAF chat on my phone but I can't.
What browser do you need to use RAF chat?
Because my phone says something about needing to upgrade it or whatever, and I'm gonna go to the phone shop to do that sometime soon.

Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Crome all work.

ah. it says please upgrade to MSIE 3.0, Opera 8.5 or Mozilla 1.0.
Lame, it'll probably cost heaps of money to change it.
