Why does my computer object when I seek to post to a thread that hasn't been posted to in 120 plus days?
-
Weeeell... A thread might have been abandoned in the dust because it's no longer relevant, or someone's question has been answered, or no one could think of a follow-up to a post (ba dum tiss) and so just left it there. You can still post on those threads though, the warning comes up because you may be unnecessarily necroing a thread.
And by the way, forum questions of this sort belong in the Suggestions/Feedback and Issues board. Syeph or someone will move it, but next time for your reference. :)

Yeah, it's basically just the forum letting you know that if you post in that thread, you can't exactly expect to be jumping into an active discussion. Go ahead and post if you still feel you've got something worth adding.

What does it mean to "necro" a thread?
-
Whoops. Slipping in forum jargon there. Anyway - to 'necro' a thread is, as the word suggests, bring it back from the dead. Take up an old topic, shake the cobwebs off it and bring it back up front by posting in it.
